I think Jihan also.. In previous concepts she was like a cute bubbly gurl and now she is completely changed in this , I am really impressed and her vocals were amazing... (Just my opinion)

im a daileee since debut, they always were very capable of doing this concept. They have showed this multiple times when covering boy group songs, also before debuting they had one last test where they did 4 genres, they could honestly pull off any concept they want. Yes they are cute and were perfect there but sometimes you gotta change it up. Honestly still shocked they did this concept so perfectly but this is only the start, they have so much more to show.
Tbh, this song is this close 🤏🏻 to be my next 10/10 song but I would settle for 8/10. My only complaint is the overall beats are kinda weak. I mean, the drums and beats during the chorus SHOULD hit harder and louder. That way this song could easily be 10 or 11 out of 10 for me. It left a great impression on me from the teaser, that is why I was so prepared to give it 10/10. But the beats let me down a little bit 😕 Edit: Ok to be more precise, it's 8/10 if played using speaker but 10/10 if you use headphones. I also tried both method with Full Bass equalizer, and the result is still the same. The beats sounded kinda weak if you use speakers but once you use headphones, you can pretty much jam to it all day long.
This is actually not a new direction for weeekly. It was all pre-planned before debut. This is just the beginning of the lore of weeekly. Throughout most of their previous music videos, there are signs and symbols that reflect this so called new concept. I, who am not a daileee, learned of this lore from a K-Pop reactor named "Safe Cave." I have actually seen numerous reactors / daileees talk of this "new" concept, who are actually quite familiar and knowledgeable about the weeekly story, which I am not one of. I have just recently gotten into weeekly's music/videos. I am a casual fan of their songs like: holiday party, after school, and tag me.

And they also made the cover dance for many concepts, so for the fans that followed them from the beginning, it's not really shocking bcs we have saw them in the dark concept during their cover dance. But, for their title song, it's kind of something new that surprisingly suits them.

Because this is the third time I've watched it and I was so shell-shocked the first few times I didn't notice the laptop closing at the end. If they have the same laptop then this is connected to the other mvs, so this weeekly are in a different universe where the last of their worries is school, or holiday parties.
