- Lionel and Schalk ventured out just before the front could hit….
Was a short trip due to the winds becoming unbearable.
Drift fishing the shallows they managed to get 3 grunters, 4 flatheads, the odd salmon, couple cuttlefish that didn’t stick, and lost a buss springer.

Both have their place
Jerk minnows can be worked faster and erratic whereas paddle tails can be slow rolled

7ft max, 8ft becomes difficult when working a lure with rod tip pointing down
