One of the most punishing maps be it Pistol Start or continous playthrough. Didn't play this until I bought the Gameboy Advance version of Ultimate Doom, started with the PS1 version & despite having the PC (Dos) version for God knows how long my lack of skill with the keyboard, for whatever reason the mouse support never existed 😂 Episode 4 is probably 1 of my favourite set of maps in the classic series of Doom games, but the whole level design & sense of progression is brilliant throughout Ultimate Doom. Less so in everything that followed, Doom 2's expanded roster of enemies made up for it's at times mediocre levels, TNT Evilution is the closest you'll get from the original series that really makes level design feel like it does in Ultimate Doom. 2025 Final Doom, Master Levels (Oh God lmao), Doom64 playthroughs are planned maybe a restart of the PS1 version too as well as Chapter/Episode 2 of my Doom Project currently underway alongside updates to several maps made. Despite the updates not played Legacy of Rust or Sigil 2 yet, Sigil was a real bastard to get through, Romero really made that more punishing for casual players than I expected lmao it's just put me off Sigil 2 but will eventually jump into both & obviously No Rest For The Living will be on it's way if I'm not busy with anything else. All just casual Playthroughs, no commentary etc.
