I cannot thank you enough dear teacher. I have to take a break a few days because I want to make all your creations. I made your ballerina with the blue and black edge dress and I am happy with her but her body and head needs more finesse. And your vase I made this similar project with cement and the cement slid in pieces off my ball. I think I did not mix enough. Trying to make it for outside. Thank You for sharing and thanking for using items that we can make and do not need to buy items like a Cricut or special molds. You teach us how to do everything with what most of us have already and for that I cannot thank you enough. Thank you dear have a lovely weekend a cannot wait for your next magical lessons. This was a beautifully done decorative bowl. I love it. I too make my own molds for my projects. That bit of time and effort adds a little something extra to the finished product. I've also found that using what you have easily at hand can sometimes bring surprising and pleasant results like with your paint choice. BEAUTIFUL!!!!

You don't need to have a papier mache base as you can put the leaves together sufficiently to hold together this would save all the later cutting of holes, Lovely idea, look great container for orchids.
Nice work! Next time What you should not do is paint a layer of oils and then paint over it with acrylics. Here's why: the acrylic paint will be unable to stick to the oil paint, so it will flake off. This can sometimes happen very quickly, almost as soon as the acrylics dry, or sometimes it can take weeks.

I collected leaves for years on route to the train stations wherever I lived and then made plastic stencils of each leaf. What a wonderful idea, thank you! (I'm retired now and wondered what I could do, wish I could share my leaf stencils with you :-)
