Perfect. I've never had an sibling-in-law or pre-relationship "friend" that wasn't a god-awful problem. An event doesn't make much sense if they kicked everyone out of their life, though- I haven't been invited to anything in years, though I got a coupon for a free breakfast at a local restaurant today, so that was nice. It's maybe a little quick if they broke up in haste, but if they had a plan... well, I can't say I've never done that. This one is a little weird- it almost sounds like it could be me that kicked everyone out of my house, but I did that in May, and I didn't have my eye on anyone- it was just getting trashed and I was trying to grieve my wife in peace. Could be the gal I fell for that ghosted me took my example and did the same- not sure how I feel about that, but I ain't gonna leave her to die in the cold when I have an empty second floor and a spare room in the basement- we always got along, I'm not really even sure what happened with her aside from her dumbass aunts giving her grief because of our age gap (or, I may just have some very serious questions about how an 18 year old that stole several grand from me managed to just go out and buy a house... I guess I did it when I was 25, but last I knew, you need two years of verified income from the same place with banking records to get a mortgage, and she didn't have that.)
