Great video. The “little” Ford 6600 was considered a big tractor when I was young along with the MF188, the MF135 and Ford 3000 were medium and the TE20 was small. Like Einstein said “it’s all relative”. Keep up the good work.
It’s rather labour intensive. On the farm next to us, when they cut silage, they have a unit that picks up the pre cut silage, roll it into bale then roll it onto the wrapper. While it’s being wrapped the unit just carries on !! Once wrapped it just rolls off onto the ground ready for being picked up and stacked.
Can’t wait till we start silage in October here in Australia. We will be using ether a reaccs tube Line wrapper. Or using a Anderson X tractor tube line wrapper. Thanks for the video olly!
You need to introduce your helpers - Mike, John, Tom, Helen, etc. Are they employee's, or are they neighbors and you all engage in a shared work system - as we did her in Northern Michigan. We would set aside a day or two and go and help each other get in the harvest. Everyone brought a tractor and trailer....the women of the house prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner and plenty of water and lemonade. We had some great weeks.
Put another pipe or chain on the ladder on the back of that trailer the same as the ladder on the front. Would be much stronger. Id love to do bales like you do. We drive like mad and rush as fast as possible!
Wow! Soo much work going in to making them ensilage balls/bales! But I gotta ask, I've never seen BLACK plastic on them ensilage balls!? Here in Sweden I have only seen white or light green plastic, is it just esthetics or is there some extra function like tsking in more warmth from the sun? O.o Seeing all the machines picking up here, going over there and making the bales makes me wanna drive and make it too! 😅😜😁
Hey Olly I've grown up loving farming and want to go into a career as a framer what sort of qualification do you need to have and what sort of age would you recommend? Thanks in advance
just some advice, I feel there are too many cuts in your videos. Especially feels janky when you are filming the wrapper. If its a piece to camera it is less noticable, but Smooth footage of machinery is best.
Just to tell you the reason it was getting week was because you put a bale on the bar at the front and back it puts strain on it and bends just to let you now
Hook the ratchet strap to top of the rear gate clip it under the rear of the trailer and tighten the strap down it can't jump up when you hit a bump then we tie all our gates down so they can't jump up problem solved
I like when the bales are getting wraped like presents and its so satisfying i like this keep up the good work in your videos
Olly, I never realized how much work goes in to this, to get to this point. Thank you for these great videos!
I wish they had one of those for wrapping gifts
Lol
What if you have like a little card with money and but it into a bigger box and wrap it with bale wrap, perfect prank.
When i was a little kid i loved to watch my neighbour doing farm jobs i just love it and i play fs 19 so much

Always love the pic and the funky music on the outro Ollie!

It has some disadvantages. Plastic film gets damaged on transport. Most balers don't have side tip. Bale flat side is much stronger to punctures.
The "Tractor Dance" was awesome!
Hey Olly
I love silage time too...The 69 is looking excellent ! Keep up the good work !
Ooooohhh that's a *nice* Manitou.
I have worked at a Manitou dealership for a while for Work Placement, absolutely AMAZING machines!!!!

We did 407 bales
Why has the Deere got restricted speed
Are you going to the ploughing championship
I wish I could. I live in mullingar Ireland and I'm going to an agricultural day on Sunday.
SarahLovesFarming u weren’t asked
Why you not do pit silage olly it is a lot easier
Why didnt you use your deici
So what is the fate of the film wrapping?
Ye are making such a big job of it just wrap the bales in field and u won’t need half the loaders
hi how are you olly
Wait it’s way harder in FS19
we have a much faster way...
Great video but do yo need so many ads?
Will you give me a shout out
