    Now my query is....what is the alternative if I don't have that TONGBA jar......any experts do plz recommend the options.

      Big plastic jug would do. But for straw u have to make sure not to suck up the grains of millet. Lol. However there's another way u can enjoy the beer by hand washing them in a seive and extracting the juice and pouring out in a glass or jug. Lol hope it made sense.

      Dry Yeast will be fine, can use 2 Yeast balls as shown in the video for 16 cups.

      Ragi n kodo are not same .....kodo is Kodro In Hindi and kodo millet in English

    If I make this in Mumbai, and want to drink it cold. Can I cool the mixture of brewed ragi and hot water in refrigerator before I consume. Or how can I consume it cold? Kindly suggest

      Millet beer is actually nice if consumed lukewarm.

      It should be sweet, stronger alcoholic content if left in the dark and warm place longer upto one month.

      I used 1 and half balls of dired yeast . You can put upto 2 balls . Thank you

      Dried Yeast packed in Ball Shaped, its actually chinese made, they give a sweet taste as well.

      @@luxmeemaharjanrai1154 1 Ball of yeast should be enough, i use 1and half to 2 balls of yeast for 16 cups.

      Nahi Himanshi KODO nahi Galta, Garam Pani Daalne ke baad 5-10 minute chhod de KODO ka rash Garam pani mein ghul jaaye to piye jab finish ho jaye to hot water fir daale jab tak KODO ka mitha swaad khatam na ho uske baad KODO ko fyak de aur important ye hai ki never stir the KODO cause it will give you headache

      I agree. You could edit out the mixing and just say mix like this for five minutes, or cool down like this for so many minutes.. other than that, excellent description of how to! Hope I can find yeast in Australia! And the right millet! I love tongba! 🙏🏻😊
