We all know the lifestyle is based on physical attractiveness. People talk and BS that its what's on the inside when it never was, is or will be. There is no "community". Age 40 and over feels like Go crawl on the casket already. Now, if you have money; you can pay for who ever.

I'm sorry you feel this way. I do agree, the focus on physical attractiveness is what causes a lot of this.

I so can identify with what you are saying...I have been dealing with these feelings for quite some time and get to a point where I feel like I just can't get where I need to be to welcome love into my life.

I have full confidence you'll get to that point in the future, my friend.

I don't think gay loneliness is all just you projecting like some others have said, it's much more likely that it is an "invisible illness" of sorts that many lgbt people aren't really talking about. Especially since the loneliness likely has a lot to do with depression, trauma, oppression, etc., a lot of people probably don't want to talk about negative issues and likely don't want to share such personal information about themselves to the public. And there are so many other serious issues in the lgbt community (like anti-lgbt laws trying to be passed, or high self-harm rates and such) that it probably overshadows the still serious but less urgent issues like gay loneliness. And there are probably many people out there who don't even realize they are suffering from this as well. Thanks for talking about it and sharing your stories, haven't really heard anyone else talk about this before.

Excellent points here, 100%. I think, in a way, all of these issues (the urgent and less urgent) become cumulative at a certain point, unfortunately.

@DonnyWinter Very true, they all mix and feed into each other, it's probably why it can be so hard to get out of it when it's hard to tell where loneliness starts and trauma ends and oppression is tangled inbetween. But hopefully bringing more awareness to this issue more people can get the help they need before it becomes a more urgent issue.

Absolutely. I appreciate your kindness, by the way. I've gotten such an array of responses from people on my initial video that blew up a few days ago, haha.

@DonnyWinter That's the first video I saw of yours too, probably because it blew up enough to be recommended to me. The vibes in that comment section felt too off to just not say anything lol. And I appreciate the replies! Hope you have a wonderful day!! :3
