Get a fresh charged battery in and see if the key releases. I dealt with a Tourag that had a dead battery and did the same. Once the battery was charged up the key released.
You're probably right but I ain't a mechanic or anything but it looks like the key had been welded or cemented into place

lmao. literally 15 gear shifts in a quarter mile drag race. the gear shifter broke and was welded back on in this car though.
i love how they say in the film its a million dollar show car but within 2 years its dropped to 80,000!
That was because it's a film car though any normal Lambo of that type would be hella expensive to purchase.
@@TheRagingStorm98 a good version of this car is about 300k (250k for the auto/flappy paddle) nowhere near the million dollars, but considering they bought 3 of them for the film. The budget for the cars is a million

@@StaredownGames as Tavarish said it's a patched up job, it's not done well and from my perspective is more dangerous with that than without it, the car chassis is made to assorb impacts and to roll in a certain way for safety and the best drivability. Even if it's already stiff, adding stiffness with some sketchy tubes (i doubt they're 😅) doesn't mean it's safer or drives better. it's not functional, and objectively is ugly. If you want to keep it film accurate just put it in the garage as it is and don't tuch it or drive it, but it makes no sense.
Rollbar has to be painted nice and it will look perfect.

@@shapes9495 People say that but drive a Toyota like most BMW owners drive their cars and you can send one off to an early grave. Any car will shit its pants and die if basic maintenance isn't completed to schedule, it's just that Toyotas need a lot less basic maintenance than most vehicles.

IMO, he has to make it just like in the movie, but do a proper build. The car has history now. Let's not take away the fame.
I think he should clean up the back part of the roll cage, as that one looks dirt cheap. The one in the interior looks pretty neat.

Under rated comment from Mark. "If it wasn't for the NSX every car would suck." Honda really made Ferrari take solid look at their build quality and reliability and every supercar since has benefited from it.
Should have worked on it in LA with Gutter. The crossover with Gutter, Mitch and DDE would get you over 1 million subs. Plus I love that shop.

skliros google search “how the original nsx changed the industry” there’s actually a great blog post from today which is really coincidental talking about it. But you can find more info from other ones also
@@skliros9235 Simply put, supercars before the NSX were usually a beast to handle and not a good daily driver, NSX changed that perception, it also brought forward a lots of technology that used to only exist on racing sence into road car that improved drivability, not to mention you have Ayrton Senna's approval on it.
Yup I said to myself Tavarish is not so good at asking the right questions he should've followed up on Marks comment but he dropped the ball there sometimes he's a little aloof and not down to brass tacks

@@maxowndhard Yeah but this is much tougher than a Gallardo. The Gallardo has more Audi generic psrts than the Murci and it is the most popular lambo model. The Murcielago isn't as popular.

I had a Ford Ranger on the original battery for 10 years and the battery blew internally. That's how a battery can go completely dead. I had to avoid WOT to drive it because the alternator cuts out on WOT.
Perhaps now that you bought that sandblaster, you'll want to clean your Ferrari engine sooner rather than later and work on draining the water out of the cylinders before they start to rust!

If you think the oil dipstick is bad, I have a ww2 WOT2 truck, made without a fuel gauge. As you drive across France dodging panzer shells, you dip a ruler in the tank to see how much fuel you have. The fuel filler is moved inside next to the drivers seat so you can check while driving. It’s perfectly safe as there’s no source of ignition in a warzone.

+1 on DIY oil changes and maintenance. For my F30 328i, dealership oil change: $100. Doing it myself: $44 from FCP Euro and about an hour. Also, Liqui Moly is BMW approved, so it good stuff.
