जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व डीजीपी एस पी वैद ने पुंछ हमले पर बड़ा बयान दिया है, उन्होंने दावा किया है कि 15 से 20 आतंकियों का एक गुट है जो जम्मू-कश्मीर में हमले को अंजाम देकर वापस लौट जाता है, उन्होंने इस हमले में खुफिया एजेंसियों की चूक का इशारा किया है और कहा है कि सेना के काफिले को ड्रोन के इस्तेमाल से सुरक्षित किया जाना चाहिए.

Former DGP Vaid is absolutely right in his statement. When armed forces (army, air force or police) travel in a convoy or otherwise in a most terrorist infested area like J&K and where such attacks have been taking place repeatedly for a long time, an intensive security survey/analysis of the area beforehand was an utmost necessity to avoid any eventuality. We always feel extremely saddened to hear/notice/observe such failure and unpreparedness of the armed forces deployed in such a most sensitive and volatile area. This makes us seek some reliable answer if terrorist groups are smarter and stronger than the armed forces.
