Orchid Expo | Patterns in Bloom | Botanical Gardens | Travel Vlog

Today I'm taking you to the Patterns in Bloom Orchid Expo at the Botanical Gardens in Boylston MA. They advertise over 2000 orchids and there are some I haven't seen before. After that, I'll show you the cafe and the gift shop before ending it with a beautiful forest walk that will show you the very beginnings of Spring.

I love botanical societies, they reveal the possibilities of what a person can grow. I feel the same way about wandering in a woods/forest. It's such a healing place. And appreciating the seasons, we have to take it in stride. Allow it to unfold naturally. Thank you for this visit. The food looked delicious. Thanks Autumn. Have a good week. Thank you!!! I am so happy I’m not the only one who finds the forest to be a healing place. Its just so quiet and it’s like the atmosphere “absorbs” whatever issue you walk in with lol. I wish you a beautiful week too and I actually had so much footage of all the orchids, but it would have slowed the video down to add it all. The slipper ones were amazing! Thanks! That’s a huge compliment! I grew up watching “travels in Europe” and I always thought the host had such a great job not just because he got to travel everywhere, but because he got to learn the history of places a little. Then that turned into me liking “No Reservations” with Anthony Bourdain and I guess I just take influence from both of those.😁 So that’s a great compliment. Thank you! 🙂🙏🌸

You are absolutely right! We need to all start taking these little day trips to remind us Spring is almost here! I can’t wait for next month to start visiting different towns in western Mass to show people just how beautiful our hometown of Massachusetts is!!

Sorry for not responding till just now! Thank you so much for this comment! You're so right. I feel like we lucked out with winter this year, but I think not seeing the color green can absolutely be a drag on the emotions. I don't get out to western MA very often! I'll keep an eye out for where you go. I'd love to know ALL of Massachusetts instead of just this east coast comfort zone I'm in. Thank you again for watching! :D

The way I was so scared lol. I keep a lot of orchids in my apartment, but they are absolutely picky plants. So easy to over water and everything.
