Don't forget, Vulkan was in The Unremembered Empire and can be the binding force that brings both the Lion and Guilliman together in the current timeline.
Heh. My head went a step further. Vulkan, suffused with WAAAGH! energy, regenerates after dying , turning the huge green primarch into the Krork-to-be. Ghaz is Vulkan confirmed! 😆
Nah. It's the Khan next, at least according to Njal Stormcaller, who went on a vision quest to seek signs of Russ's possible return in (2018) Ashes of Prospero,: "“None my lord. There are stirrings, tempests through which even I cannot gaze. Even so, I saw a sleeper entombed in rock and a white storm that rode upon a chariot of lightning.” This statement is so absurdly on the nose, I can't believe it wasn't planted deliberately. He called the Lion correctly, my money's with Njal on this one.
@@cowboyjohnn The blanket arrogance comes from strong leaks and rumours that are 99% of the time proven right. Leman Russ is the next loyalist primarch, I’ll bet you money on it

That would be so annoying I love tts but I don't want that to happen I don't mind him losing his mind and going berserk In battle but becoming a half ork is plain silly
@@vontheunknown7982 That's why he should lose himself in battle that would be a good dynamic with his softer side when he's calm and perhaps it could also add interesting aspect that Vulcan may be worried about going into battle and risking losing himself to the rage that the ork energy imbued in him and in the process kill civilians and whatnot
I think it's hard to say which primarchs are going to be next. I think Guilliman fills in the spot for the codex compliant chapters, and then they would bring in the non codex primarchs, like the Lion and Russ. But seeing as Sanguinius isn't available, and the Sanguinor was super underwhelming as a release instead of being nearly primarch level like I'd have speculated he should be, it's hard to say where they'll go next. Russ vs Orks makes the most sense to me. Dorn coming back as a black templar could round it off for the loyalists
Salamanders need a ruleset/ codex! Something like +1 toughness when charged. Or a soecial weapons type of burning. The firestorm is a strategem in lore only all chapters can take it. 2 characters that's it? Thunder hammers on terminators hit on 3 plus and have an extra attack. That would be cool too. Make draconic units.
Right now I would place the likely order: JKhan comes back first. Eldari are already involved and he is supposedly in webway. Drukhari getting involved in behalf of eldari doesn't seem likely but them making deals to locate Jkhan isn't too farfetched at all. With Angron and Khorne as current big bads of chaos, vulcan doesn't seem like good option for chaos related return. With the chaos undivided, Corvus corax makes most sense after Jkhan as the one going after chaos. For the orks, Vulkan makes most sense. This also places him as the one to face rage fueled Angron. The primarch that cares and the mindless primarch pretty much is thematic match and getting the orcs as third party is pretty powerful. Leman is supposedly in chaos realms. So him coming out is potentially nigh impossible. This however gives entire storyline potential for finding emperor himself within the warp, which would make sense as the finisher of the storylines currently open for us. This just leaves most annoying thing about this: This current setting order leaves Tau, Necrons, Votann and Tyranids as fringe groups that don't really matter.
The Salamanders really deserve some spotlight; but so does the White Scars (probably even more so, honestly)..So while i would love to see Vulkan return, i think Jagathai Khan would be interesting to have show up :) (Or both; both would be nice.. ;) )
If he comes back it would complete the Primarchs that I have wanted for ages. I hope he returns and can easily see him coming back after the EC more so than the Orks. Either way I would be happy. I just need GW to release him already.
I think people are forgetting a very important factor, that being Ork Wagh corruption. I don’t remember in which book (I think in a dawn of fire book) an astropath got corrupted by the sheer power of a medium sized wagh in a sector, making her kill one of her servants bashing her skull with brutal power. Whenever Vulkan comes back we should really consider the idea that he might come back corrupted, maybe even possessed by Gork and Mork. Turning him into a beast, which wouldn’t be too crazy considering his track record. It only took Konrad and a free fall from orbit to make him go insane. Now that he fell into an ork generator powered by the purest wagh energy in the galaxy (excluding the war in heaven of course) the chances of him being actually corrupted are very high in my opinion. I think if that happens and the emperor, the Lion, and Guilliman got to cleanse him from this corruption it would be a very changed Vulkan that would return, in personality and sheer power. He might even come back as one of the most brutal fighters in the galaxy if this were the case. Also if this happened the artifacts could be used to uncorrupt him. I genuinely don’t know how but that’s how they would fit in this theory of mine 😅
If Vulkan comes back I'd love for him to introduce Amazons as abhumans into 40k. Since the Salamanders aee all about family, the Amazons could be the 'Little Sisters' to the Salamanders. Maybe Vulkan has a wife now
I personally think thematically, Vulkan should be the last loyalist primarch to return to the setting. To me, he’s the primarch that best represents hope in the setting, and the current pattern of loyalist primarch returns follow that they return following a huge imperial L of some sort, I think him returning when the imperium is truly on the ropes again (ie chaos storming the galaxy to invade terra again) would be in my opinion a good way encapsulate his theme of hope and being the “good guy” of the imperium. I’m a big salamanders glazer too but I think him returning now seems premature and out of place in my opinion. I personally would like it to either be the khan or corvus to be the next to return, but we’ll see.
Vulkan was shown things, well before meeting Koorland. The Dark something the Emporer gifted his Primarchs! His near death experiences at the hands of Konrad Kurze wouldn't have helped!❤

I wonder if Vulkan would be able to bring technologies back that were lost 10,000 years ago.
Nah, Vulkan was more of a craftsman/artisan than someone like perturabo who was tech nerd.
Yeah, I'd love to see the big guy come back, if for no other reason than to see him give Guilliman a bear hug.
Vulcan being big and (wearing) green goes undercover as an Ork, instantly getting a massive following of Burna Boyz.
