ISRO should budget for ONE web designer with an artistic sensibility to bring their web pages from 1990s to 2020. Their web pages should be as cool as their rocket technology.
A web page is not just for having a place holder for information. It should also capture the attention and inspire the young people of the nation.

Google Earth is focused on the western world , where we can see real life like picture but its not focused on th Eastern world, so NaviC is doing that for us.

Google bought satellite images from many sources. They collect data from users. And they earn from it. It is a business.
Bhuban is completely built from scratches by ISRO. And they don't earn from it.

I'm a web developer , and I will try to make a web app like Google Earth using bhuvan if I somehow manage to access those data in my site

Thank you for this video. I was today years old when I got to know about Bhuvan. You explain things so simply and wonderfully. I do have a question though, does it support street view too like the Google Earth?

It is interesting that the Corona sattelites didn't have the capability to transmit images with radio waves. So the satellite literally deorbited, reentered, fell and helicopters had to catch them out of the sky to recover the film reels which had these images.
It is shocking to realise the journey that these images have had, before appearing on our screens. Also, thankyou jagadish Chandra Bose sir.
ISRO Does so many Good But why dont they promote it?? Many people would have shifted To Bhuvan from Google Earth If They Had promoted Bhuvan.

If many people would use Bhuvan, Indian Government's server costs will increase exponentially. They don't want to pay for unecessary expenses

You cannot compare Google Earth to bhuvam, download the Google Earth and look it urself
It's 100 times better than bhuvam
I did a course on various applications developed by ISRO and IIRS. They are amazing.

Never knew bhuvan was this feature rich. This should be made popular, less people know of such brilliant work by our scientists.
NAVIC should be promoted in place of google monopolized GPS service, let indian data stay in India.

The technological capabilities is amazing. The only thing left now is to make the website user interface more modern and user friendly and then NavIC may even become more popular than Google Maps
Isro can't spend much on advertisement due to budget constraints of course even the actual launchings are so poorly broadcasted. so better you guys and we all keep publishing ISRO things on social media in our capability.
NASA Wallops launches are also poorly brodcasted due to very very tight budget
Dude ISRO broadcast is done by doordarshan. It FREE because it's government funded.
I think ISRO should give contracts to other companies for broadcasting

Many people are comparing google earth to Bhuvan but there is no point to compare them as Bhuvan seems to be totaly research based and provides deep analysable data, in good resolution like google with slight differnce....but google had limited tools and cant provide data like Bhuvan....at end both are best at their level for India😊👍
