I have long been a fan of kenmore products especially their vacuumso it didn't surprise me that I would love this stick vac as much as I do. I love it so much that I bought 2 more 14 the 2nd floor of my house and 14 my elderly mom who loves using it betweename Major cleanings with her can more elite chemistry fact.
Not a big fan with how many parts the machine comes in and the base for recharging. Consider looking at the similar units made by Black & Decker as well as Bissell.

Question. Does the head swivel as well as most of the stick vacuums?
Yes, it does and very nicely.
We have this DS1030, but have lost the blue retaining basket that holds the filter. I just CANNOT find it online. Help!

No one shows how to clean the FILTER!!!! Ugh
In-between washes it says to dry brush it with a brush and when needed wash the filter with warm water.
