I also make Tilapia fish tacos, just use unbreaded, unbattered with spinach and Mexican cheese, topped with sour cream. I also make it with slaw, and leave out the spinach. I will try your recipe. I love your cooking style, you are a fantastic cook. I know I'm NOT Rossana but, as a Taco Lover growing up by the Mexico Boarder and having 6 Mexican Aunts or Sisters in Laws and 2 Mexican Daughters in Law, I can assure you, Ground Beef Tacos AREN'T authentic Mexican cuisine. Ground Beef can't be marinated like traditional Taco meat is, so you have to add the spices as the meat cooks, Spices used would be the same that ALL Mexican food uses, Ground Chilies (Powders), Salt, Onions, Cumin, Garlic, Cilantro and Lime or Lemon Juice.
To fine out if your oil is ready to fry put a wooden utensil and if it bubbles the oil is ready to fry. But make sure the heat it's not the high and Happy Frying

Cilantro ball it up in your hand press it down with you palm them bend your fingers to kitchen knife letting the cilantro out then cut. Best method
