There are some really great tips in this video! We started doing the sock thing with our kids last year. We also have them take them off and put them straight into a laundry net bag so that when I do laundry I just throw in their net bag, all of their socks get washed at once and then all of them go back to the same kid to get folded. It's a real time-saver.
Title should be more like "how to save some change without giving up your materialism and over-consumption" Want to save real money? Don't buy packaged pre-made food... grow it, buy raw ingredients in bulk, and preserve it cook it yourself. Don't buy gifts... make gifts. Don't use a clothes dryer... air dry clothes. Don't pay for kids to have cellphones... they don't need them.... and so on.

We hang our laundry outside to dry even in winter . Also grow our herbs ,vegetables, make meals from scratch .6/11/2019

I buy all my hats and mittens at the dollar store. I even include them as Christmas gifts in gift baskets.
