Davy Jones is different than thanos completely. Thanos does what he does because he believes that what he's doing is right and is ambitious to achieve his goal. Davy jones, I feel, does what he does because he thinks that there is no choice, that because the one he loved didn't love him, he believes that because life is cruel that whatever happens in the afterlife shouldn't be different. Darth Vader is somewhat like davy jones but I dont see them as equally as Davy Jones fell in love with someone who didn't love him, vader was rejected by the council and smooth talked into joining the sith by someone that isn't even a jedi or any other force abilities (I'm going with what the jedi new and not what we know. I know that palpatine is a sith lord but they didn't know that until anakin told them)

This song tells a truly relatable tale I tale of bliss, pain, rage, and the futility of that rage...its almost as if the song gives up its rage and anguish and surrenders to sorrow at the end...davy jones is so relatable because we have ALL felt this pain before at some point we have ALL been betrayed longed for someone to share in our pain and eventually destroyed who we once were...the ending can be seen as us surrendering to the light or the dark at the end of our raging storm in the end we can choose how to interpret the song just like we can choose to walk the path a rage till it destroys us utterly...or we can choose to let go of that pain anger and hatred....hans zimmer is truely a talented artist

The seas will show the sailor calm winds, low waves ,peaceful times. But that sea will also hit you with a hurricane ,roaring waves, typhoon winds . But that's part of the sea,if it was any different would the sailor love her still? No. Them horrible times are adrenaline fielding and bond forging ,then replaced with calmness and relaxation. Both make her who she is and both are why the sailor loves her.

This song version sounds like something PERFECT for a boos fight in an MMORPG... Like 0:00-1:06 is dungeon roaming mob fighting. Ambients 1:07-1:44 is pre-fight/ first phase of a boss fight with Davy Jones 1:45-2:07 is 2nd phase and for most part of the fight ( looping! ) 2:08-2:30 is last phase where the difficulty peaks. o3o
I'd say that depends on the kind of boss fight you'd get. A boss music doesn't mean it must be fast to get hyped. But intense and this version of davy jones' theme for me certainly delivers on the intensity.
