Shoulder Arthroplasty is relatively an advanced procedure for a postgraduate to understand, Post graduates usually don’t have that much of understanding about shoulder arthroplasty principles and procedure, this could be because of relatively less number of shoulder arthroplasty cases and more to that less number of centres that do shoulder arthroplasty.
Now a days as the pattern of Theory examination and practical examinations are changing, post graduates are expected to know at least the principles , indications , contraindications and procedural differences in different types of shoulder arthroplasty both in their theory and practical examinations.

Almost every young mind in orthopaedics have gone through this book in his MBBS . Dr. J. Maheshwari who has written this book is currently working as a senior Director and HOD of Orthopaedics at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi India, the legend himself in this video lecture has explained about the basics of shoulder arthroplasty in his own signature style. In this video he has explained shoulder arthroplasty in such an elaborative and easy manner that after this video any postgraduate and young surgeon can understand the basics behind shoulder arthroplasty.
