I am pretty sure the guys that mod Tekken 6 psp version could relatively easily make it play like Tekken 3. Considering they have managed to put Tekken 7 stuff and Tekken 8 stuff into it. Everything from frame data to mechanics like rage and heat etc. Making it play like Tekken 3 would probably be possible but probably harder than adding stuff to it. Because they would have to remove so many moves and properties
I have played with Verchiel before - only one session but that guy was NOT messing around with his Lei. Real good shit, glad to see he's still playing.

I would love for them to make a tekken tag 1 remake in HD and make it online compatible. I would buy it instantly. To me it’s the greatest tekken of all time.
This awesome, Makes me wanna download and play man. Love the color on King too and the quality looks amazing. Bandai Namco spending all that budget over the years and can't make a decent game like this. All the needed to do was stick to this and build on from it by adding new stages, characters, new intros and soundtracks. Big fat waste of money is all I can say.
I actually know a king player like this, He never grapples but he will string combo the hell outta you lol, he’s tricky as hell. I think he doesn’t grab bc that’s what they’ll be expecting. He keeps them guessing.

There was some of it, but generally: technical limitations and/or better alternatives. Not everyone is an arcade stick enjoyer. Nina did Hayashida step like 50% of the set though, that's pretty much harder and better

Although the set meta was superb, the connection was not the best, and as the game progressed, frame drops became more frequent. Poor execution, as a result, got me hit more frequently. I am the Nina player :P

I played Verchiel and got trashed. I think it was 7-0 and the connection got lost. It easily could've ended at 25-0.

this game was almost perfect only thing I would have tweaked a bit was the roster add lee, bruce, kazuya, armor king, kunimistsu etc

If you mean multithrows then it's because it's very risky to do. Good players can break the multithrows or punish you everytime you miss the grapple.
