When you said that this song reminded you of the early Eminem records, Boi it's already a compliment 😄 thank you for that! This whole Act 1 album is kinda like a INTRODUCTORY to who EZ Mil is all about musically, so the notion of being into mainstream with this kind of lyric is still behind in going into it. Even if that one facet was actually going to hold him back (it's not) Ez has a multitude of avenues to stardom at his disposal. First and foremost, he's a lyrical genius with the pen and then the ear test sees him rhyme not just bars but syllables within bars. He switches flows like someone changing lanes on a freeway hopping in and out of lyrical pockets. His lyrical skills alone will assert him as a pillar in the rap game.
But then you flip the coin on the other side and he can write and sing ballads that make the girls cry. He could never rap another bar in his life and could grab a guitar and cruise down Ed Sheeran's lane. And just like his rap, his songs have beautiful and poetic lyrics... so it isn't just the sound. It's the content as well. It blew me away when she said there was nothing good about Omoshiroi.

This 22 year old kid just said - through rap - that sees leaves that were once alive and beautiful that are destined to fall and die at the end of the season - and feels that pain recognizing the cosmic parallel there. His lyrics are astounding in spots.
The way he's saying / singing things is almost over-shadowed by what he's actually saying. He's genuine, raw and the messages within what he's saying / singing are deep and meaningful. Essentially the exact opposite of the crap in the mainstream right now.
And if he was somehow shockingly and unfathomably held back in either of those generas...
He could also be the frontman for a rock / alternative / metal band.
He can also play every single instrument you hear, produce his own beats, choreograph and dance in his own videos, etc etc
I can't fathom how anyone could listen to Ez Mil and come away with "he's limiting himself and that could hold him back".
The guy literally could not be 𝙈𝙊𝙍𝙀 𝙻𝚒𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜. That's the only take-away. If you come away dwelling on something else, you're missing it. This is a generational talent emerging.
I agree he is limitless ! No limit for his potential at all. Very curious to see where his talents lead him. 🙏🏾

Come on now…Kamikaze only had 3 songs where he was taking shots and complaining about the reception of Revival. The rest of the album was 3 relationship songs, a soundtrack song (Venom), an apology song to D12 (Stepping Stones), a Slim Shady type song and the MGK diss.
