Man, what a great show. I don’t Dave from John (I.e., anybody else) but I get a strong sense that Dave was formed by a disappointment with Christian culture. Having to constantly move because of his dad, disappointment with cheesy Christian music and culture. I resonate with a lot of his music but I genuinely think it’s not a genuine disappointment with the person of Jesus. I’d love to sit down with him one day over a drink.
