HOW TO MAKE THE BEST INSTANT POT CRISPY CARNITAS & SALSA DE MOLCAJETE

Today I’m going to be sharing with you how to make the best carnitas in a instant pot they are seriously the best and super easy to make, oh and let’s not forget you can make them in less than an hour! They are super tender, juicy and putting it on the broiler allows us to get a crispy outer layer, just as if you took hours frying the meat 😅 you can keep it longer than 5 minutes to get it even crispier, your meat will not dry out 😉

-Blender, vitamix a3500
-You can find all ingredients at your local Walmart, Frys, Safeway,Hispanic supermarket or Amazon!!!
-pots and pans are from Calphalon
-Molcajete from swap meet

📍Tip after our meat is done try it for salt, if it needs any add it then add the broth
Ingredients:
4 lbs pork butt or pork shoulder
12 oz coke( Mexican bottle best)
Juice of 4 oranges or 3/4 cup
Juice of 3 limes or 1/4 cup
8 garlic cloves
1/4 onion
2 bay leaves
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp rosemary
salt I used 5 tsp
Black pepper I used 1 tbsp
Salsa de Molcajete:
2 roma tomatoes
2 tomatillos
2 jalapeños
2 serrano
4 chile árbol
2 garlic
1/4 onion
handful cilantro
Salt
1 serving of love 💕

This young lady is an amazing chef! She definitely must have watched either her mom/ dad or grandma! Somebody's taught her well! Her food always looks delicious and authentic! I love authentic Mexican food! The kind that taste like a Mexican grandma made it! I make this also, but not in an instapot!

I made this recipe! This is the first time ever making carnitas. It was so easy and wow they came out delicious. The whole family loved them 😀 I think the most time consuming thing was making the salsa and breaking it down with the molcajete but I’ll tell you, that salsa didn’t last very long. Everyone loved it. I did only make it with jalapeños and I de seeded 1 of them to make sure they weren’t too spicy for my kids. I would’ve liked it a tad spicier but it worked and was delicious. This is my 3rd recipe now that I’ve made of yours and I have not been disappointed once. Tonight I’m making your instapot beans. Can’t wait to try them! Thanks again for all of your delicious recipes ☺️

I love this recipe I make it like twice a month now. The meat reminds me of this Mexican meat market that sold all kinds of cooked meats when I was a kid. Never had carnitas close to that memory until I found this! Thanks Claudia! True and authentic food from her.

Girlllllllll, these carnitas are AHMAZING!! I’ve always made them in the crockpot but time wasn’t on my side today. Thankfully I saw your recipe and decided to try something new.
