I watched allot Polynesian dances and heard allot of songs. Though the modern day styles of song and dance are entertaining and not doubt took allot of skill and practice. I still prefer the old ways, there is just a strong spirit of pride that you feel with the original dances that is very moving. I'm proud to be Polynesian. Fakafetai, alofa lasi atu.
Ever since my first exposure to Polynesian dance, especially Samoan, I have felt like I have found my soul. The music and dance transport me to a heavenly level where I am above the earthly world and in a place of pure vbeauty and love.
Hello, i was just wondering The Teacher's Culture group from 1974, they did this song when they came to Rotorua, i was just wondering if you have the actual video to this song please. from beginning to the end. Cause my uncle and aunty were in the group. My uncle was in the first item and my aunty was doing the Taualuga. Alofa atu. Also do you have any video's of the first Teacher's Culture group from 1972 when they went to the Festival of Arts in Suva Fiji please, my mum was in that group. Thank you. Alofa atu.
