I have listened to many of Mlu's stories and they always leave me wondering. In other interviews he grew up in Eskhawini, here he grew up in KwaMashu and mina I know him from the place called Denny Dalton where he grew up. I don't know whether he does it on purpose to protect something. It's okay to use pseudonames but you should indicate if you have taken that route. Also, how is it possible that he doesn't know his father yet he has younger siblings who are his look alike. I know his younger brother, we were friends in 2003. Alot doesn't add up in his background story. Nevertheless, thank you for sharing your jail experience and for being an agent of change in our society. We appreciate you man. Just clarify your background story; I have heard alot of other people from Denny Dalton who have the same concern as me.

I remember him saying he gew up Esikhawini and would catch a train/bus to Point Rd where they got petty cash from tourists... something along those margins
What is this obsession with his background? It is disingenuous to cast aspersions on his credibility and also praise him for sharing his prison experience! He is on this podcast because he was in prison, not because he grew up in (or is from) Denny Dalton/Eskhawini/KwaMashu - so there is really no need for him to clarify his background!

If you have Tattoos forget but you can do it while you in the system to a certain extent, Mlu is right.
What is the difference between gangsterism and a blood cult?? I have total respect for Mr Zondi and his honesty. Good sense of humour, a true survivor. Such a transparent guy. God bless him.😢 He stayed strong despite what he went through, most victims of this rampant crime in prison don't want to open up about it.

Sure Skeem, you can have a tattoo once you are employed as a cop, however as part of entry you will not be selected to serve as JMPS, EMPD, TMPS & SAPS. Mlu is right.
