Thanks for a great video! I was born in Seattle and have lived near it most of my life. Since the 1970s concerned citizens have been pushing for a rail transit system in the city, but it wasn't until 2000 that the Link light rail finally began construction. I haven't had a chance to ride the system yet, but your video has me excited and I'm planning to do it soon!
Thanks for past effort👍 My son is going into civil engineering and he is a fan of public transportation. He did share the brief history of (what seemed to me) a long struggle and fight for this to happen. He's the reason my wife went on this ride for the first time 😀
@@MinhGiac I was never an activist myself but I thank those who were 👏 If your son chooses a career in public transportation he will have a bright future. To control carbon emissions our entire country will need to shift from private vehicles to mass transit. We will need to build a modern passenger rail system like more advanced nations such as China and Japan. Your son will take part in this renewal of America!
