미국에서는 미키마우스가 있다면 동부유럽에는 크르텍이 있답니다. 체코에서 1950년에 시작한 이 애니매이션은 오늘날 전 세계에서 사랑받고 있습니다. 이 캐릭터와 애니매이션을 만든이는 체코의 즈데넥 밀레르이고 크르텍이란 체코어로 두더지란 뜻으로 주인공이죠. 이 외에도 생쥐, 개구리, 토끼, 고슴도치 등 다양한 동물들이 등장하고 있답니다. 이 애니매이션의 주 스토리는 숲 속 동물들이 점점 개발되는 현대문명과 마주하는 문제들이죠. 무거운 주제에 비해 숲속에 나무와 꽃들 그림이 너무 서정적이며 이국적인 분위기로 너무 훌륭하답니다. 한장면 한장면 소장하고픈 배경그림들이라서 제가 그리면서도 너무 행복했어요. 이 외에도 숲을 파괴하거나 망가뜨리는 여러 탈것들과 도시 그림들 역시 악당으로 보기에 너무 심플하면서도 귀엽게 그려져서 미워할 수없이 사랑스러웠답니다.

Compared to the heavy theme, the paintings of trees and flowers in the forest are so lyrical and exotic atmosphere that they are wonderful. They were the background paintings that I wanted to keep in one scene, so I was very happy while painting them. In addition, the various vehicles that destroy or destroy forests and urban paintings were also so simple and cute to look like villains that I loved countless times.
