The problem are not bars, restaurants and cinemas, the problems for us are hospitals, soon schools for children over 12 years old. At the beginning the government wanted to cut access to supermarket but we managed to stop that.

They said that we don't need to vaccinate if we don't want to, like we can choose, BUT , if we don't, then we could not go to restaurants, take buses, go to library's, any store other than mainly needs. It means our country is generally well-educated and understands the limitations of freedom when it poses a threat to the health of others. I'm hearing reports from the American government that the Delta variants are more contagious than the common cold and is as contagious as chicken pox and shockingly even the vaccinated can carry as much of the variant in their noses and throats as the unvaccinated.
Where I live we've gone from 0 cases to out of control in a matter of weeks. This Delta lockdown could have been avoided if the government had taken national quarantine and vaccination rollouts seriously (that and had clearly addressed all the misguided crackpot conspiracy theories floating around).
I don't want to sound like a broken record but unfortunately in hindsight vaccination seems wise to me, and the unvaccinated have their own and family's lives in their hands. I'd rather be waiting in a long queue for a booster shot, then waiting in long queue at a hospital gasping for breath.
It's funny how these crackpot conspiracy theories are willfully ignorant of the advanced medical science that is protecting them from the pandemic from becoming worse. The "1st World countries" might want to "check your privilege".

I support the protesters! We are having the same protest in lithuania right now. They said that we don't need to vaccinate if we don't want to, like we can choose, BUT , if we don't, then we could not go to restaurants, take buses, go to library's, any store other than mainly needs. They were even talking about children that were not vaccinated couldn't go to school( can't confirm if that's 100% true, but still, they were thinking about it), we could lose our job if won't vaccinate, aaaand the most important thing is that we are a democratic country, we have every right to choose, but that doesn't seem to be the case in our "government" leader heads. They are Trying to rule us. They're trying to make lithuania a dictatorship country again..

It means our country is generally well-educated and understands the limitations of freedom when it poses a threat to the health of others. I'm glad Canada is filled with such intelligent people who support vaccine passports.
