- In this video, I try to IGL in the last cash cup of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8. In case you don't know what IGLing means, it refers to in-game leading your teammates. This basically means that you are the one tarping, you are the one choosing different positions and rotations, and you are basically the leader of your trio. Usually in tournaments I would support or even frag, but after thinking about which role I would play the best, I decided to try out IGLing in the trio cash cup. Make sure to check out my teammates down below, even though this was the last tournament of Chapter 2, and also let me know what you think of my IGLing skills. It was only my first tournament and I still have a lot to learn and improve on. Jerian IGL is the way tho.

I’ve been igling since szn 4 with solid consistent placements and made some notes if you care
-When playing height first moving, always go above old builds so no one can land above you on them and generally play higher layers
-Also double come 2 wide with no floors when tarping height
-Be careful with how many mats you invest at 50/50 in more stacked games
-Make sure you have your launchpad path and landing spot fully planned for first moving
-When tarping low dont focus on spraying ppl on your layer or fighting- use chilli chugs to claim space ahead and let the fraggers spray them. Then when people come from behind in storm they’ll fight the other team on lowground=you’ll be further ahead so further from storm
-Don’t let a loud support player overrule you, you’re the IGL and need to make the decisions. Listen but don’t let them dictate
-50/50 rotations without pad were good - vital for saving launchpads for moving
-When crankly took over it generally went to shit, tell him to stfu and listen. 3 ppl executing a bad plan together>everyone doing good plans on their own
-You need to always launchpad first otherwise you can’t decide position. Make sure they drop you launchpad when each zone reveals itself (eg 6th zone, you should have every pad because after Z6 there won’t be time to drop pads)
-You play the support role in fights rlly well ( eg spraying and letting the better boxfighters get up close)
-Honestly tell crackly to stfu he got you killed like four games tryna take over esp with launchpads

I feel like assigning Jerian to only one role may be limiting his potential as he is so skilled in every aspect of the game but Jerian is also a genius so he knows better than I do
