This Jedi was out in the world, doing battles for a couple of weeks, you know.. just for fun. And then returns home to wash his clothes.
    Best Star Wars story ever!

I'm very proud of the Jedi robes I've made, it's very much inspired by an Old republic look, I used a brown long sleeve undershirt, a sand colored bathrobe that I cut the sleeves off for the robes, for the tabard I used a pair of khaki jeans, a gray scarf for the belt and a sleeveless black robe for the cloak, I also took the side ventilators off of a respiratory mask and painted it black and gold.

Anthony, your enthusiasm for the subject, as usual, is infectious (in a good way!). Its nice to see someone showing 'us' that you don't need specialist tools, expensive paints and dyes to bring life to what was otherwise a fairly mundane prop costume. I like the gritty realism of using your dirty floor for weathering and using scrubbing brushes etc. to rub grime and life into this costume. Imagination and a little time, certainly in your case, is clearly a great substitute for throwing money ata built or mod. Please keep the vids coming. Usually the highlight of my TH-cam day mate. Thanks.

This is amazing! I especially loved the trick with sanding the fabric. I will definitely find an excuse to use that in the future. Thanks!

Pro tip @ 10:14 the leather pouch will infact hold the average cell phone 🤳 if it doesn't have anything on it like a pop socket (a little knob for holding a cell phone better) it's absolutely perfect for a cell phone pouch

@@createscifi Hey question when you put the outfit into the washing machine , what setting was the washer on? gonna try this out my self but with different tabards (vinyl pleather tabards) and a different color Jedi outfit ( the black one)

@@hyper-link7540 16:19 It's a bit hard to make out, but I think his washer is on extra delicate and hot. I don't see a length anywhere.

You could probably saved the paint step on the seam threads by using rit synthetic blend with a mix of salt and white vinegar it works on nylons!
Ive used it on surplus military gear to get rid of the crap acu colors with great success!

Adding vinegar to the wash cycle will help remove odors. Especially if it's synthetic material made in the factory.

@@createscifi I know the learning curve can be pretty steep on it. It took me about 2hrs to follow a 10 minute tutorial. most of it was pausing and rewinding the video to see what the person clicked on or match up the commands because my version updated to 2.9 and the person was using 2.8.
