That sensor on the fuel filter head is a Filter service indicator and the plug on the bottom is a water-in-fuel sensor, on pre 2011 models the filter service indicator was a visual one but the post 2011 models they updated it to an electrical filter service indicator.

Chris clean your seatbelt with washing powder soak it in a bucket in situ over night…the belt is thick with dirt so is struggling to coil and locks because the belt is too thick

Filter for sure change oil and hydrochloric filter too on air end oil is rotary screw 46 not hydrochloric oil. Take care putting lid back on not to snap the black plastic thing on the filter and don't remove the staples they earth the lid 👍

Filter inside the lid of tank brother and yes filter or scavenge line will do that.. if there is a staple in the gasket DO NOT REMOVE it’s a ground

I know how it feel Chris, there was a chap I was friends with and saw him for years in the gym when I was a young lad, and found out yesterday he's died, 55 years old and gone, it just feels unfair sometimes. He was such a happy go lucky kind of guy always helping people, stayed positive even when things were going shit, ups and downs of life. Had a bit of time quiet for him in memory.

Interesting point on those screw compressor oil separating filters, the top gasket usually has a couple of steel staples fitted through it, don't remove them as they provide an earthing point through the filter, something to do with preventing static electricity building up and interfering with the oil separation I think, it's a few years since I worked on them though ?

There's a big drain-bung on the bottom of them washer tanks, Chris, what for letting out the muck. You screw it off & wash the tank out.

Those transit filter heads have feed and return running through them and can draw in air. Can join returns with piece of plastic air pipe and loop some rubber pipe on filter head to rule it out. Keep up the good work 👍

I’m sorry to hear about your friend Chris. Lost a good friend at work to the same thing, he was about 35 , happened while he was on the van. Die the next day when they took him off life support. Sad

You do not have to remove that tank off the washer there is a large drain plug on the bottom of take for cleaning them out 👍

Yes Chris its a screw compressor which runs in oil the filter separates the oil from the air. Check the oil grade.

I paid £165 for my power pack for fishing,I'm going to get one of them chris
Don't shut compressor down with air line open, needs pressure to drain oil back to reservoir or you get oil in air line. You can use 10W oil in air end, done it for years without issues. 10W not 10/40 or anything like that
