Hahaha Brian this was awesome! Never would’ve guessed you were such a fan of Banjo-Kazooie. And yes, Clanker is Banjo voice samples pitched and slowed down. Also Grant Kirkhope is Mumbo. His speech is actually him saying “come and have a go, if you think you’re hard enough.” Lots of fun stories behind character voices.

@@nathanquino584 Yeah I know, but imagine you write a very positive comment about a TH-camr and he/she gives it a heart. Then you edit the comment to something very mean/disrespectful/racist etc. If the heart would still be there, people might think the TH-camr supports this "mean" comment, though he liked it when it was positive. That's the reason they added this feature. I hope this explains it! But yes it's still pretty annoying if you don't know about it and your heart disappears out of nowhere.
I have to say, Banjo is like a Frankenvoice mashup of Goofy and the Mad Hatter. There's hints of Goofy's laugh and Hatter's looney wallows. What an interesting combination 🤔
I always lived Banjo-Kazooie. I always played it on the N64 at my grandparents’ house.
I give this video 5 rescued Jinjos out of 5.
I think your Gruntilda impression needs a little bit of work, but everyone else is pretty much spot on almost.

6:50 In the young days i was sooooo scared when i saw Clanker for the first time underwater. Those teeths man.... I quit the game and got a nightmare when i was like 6y old. I left that lvl until i had to go back for the last jiggies. Now he is just cute and harmless.

I've never played a Banjo-Kazooie game before, (I grew up on DK64 myself ),
I have seen a very few clips of the game here and there so I can say that your Grunty and Kazooie are good.
And hearing these makes me want to look for the original Banjo-Kazooie game, (I have a N64 so I can play it if I found it).
Tooty sound effects sound like M&M! I like Kazooie sound. Clanker remind me of Dory in trying to speak Whale.

This was certainly an interesting video. Impressions of characters who don’t speak in actual lines often but just a bunch of random noises with a few words thrown in every now and then. But you still managed to pull it off pretty well.

Banjo-Kazooie impressions would be great warm up for sound-effect voice actors/foley voice actors. I love Banjo-Kazooie too, Brian, and I freaked out when I saw the E3 2019 trailer for the Ultimate DLC for Fall 2019. Hooray for the bear and bird, except for Nuts and Bolts. Yooka-Laylee 2 looks like it will be a bit more organized than the first game form 2017, but it still looks like a spiritual successor to this iconic game (series) as well as to DK Country in its level design.

For Mumbo, it's all sequenced from the phrase "Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough" and the chant is "Ooh my naka". Regardless loved these impressions :D

I think my favorite thing about this video are the t-posing models that show up whenever he does a voice.
That first one sounded like either a drunk crow or parrot that had fell into a barrel of moonshine and had it's fill of it. Done good tho brother keep it up.

A majority of the voice bits are actually the creators just saying one or two words and then they're clipped and mixed in various ways to get the result we know and love to hear.

Banjo-kazooie is my childhood! No joke: two ringtones from that game are on my phone. The honeycomb life noise and the bubbles when banjo goes underwater! I feel like you and I are so much in common Brian. You’re like the male version of me. I love elephants, Disney, voicing Minnie Mouse (and a bit of Mickey too), love God, making children smile, and Banjo Kazooie. ☺️
