This is right where it all started, with 8-bit graphics. Reimagining it how it would be in 1985 is just phenomenal

1:44 This part actually gave me more chills than the original trailer did. Modern 3D graphics are great and a feat worthy of praise, but there's something about the old-school graphics and use of parallax and depth in this shot that strikes a nostalgic chord deep within me

They should have done something like this for the end credits since sonic did this style of the end credits which is very creative knowing how the whole Mario and sonic franchise started as a 8bit game

This honestly looks really cool, It doesn’t take away much when it’s turned into the 8 bit style and feels a lot more like Mario when Mario travels to the mushroom kingdom. I rate it 10/10, good job!
