I definitely making an Animal Crossing movie soon called Mabel’s Independent Journey and this video is been a great help to me and I can’t wait to see Part 3 of Mermaid Crossing in October.
I know I'm late but a tip for anyone who records by saving videos on the Switch; if you press the home button and minimize the game, it clears the video memory. Set up your shot, press the home button, reopen your game, then record the shot from there. It will only record whatever happened after reopening the game, so if you want a 10 second shot, the saved clip will only be 10 seconds long. This saves storage space and, much more importantly, makes editing faster and less tedious because you don't have to manually trim each shot (at least not to the same degree, obviously a buffer is nice to have at the beginning and end of each clip to get everything timed right)
I love your short movies they show how much love and time you have investigated i hope you will be motivated to make more Videos i like the stories and i think you make a really good job so i'm glad to see what's next have a nice day ^-^

Good luck! I write outlines for most of my videos. The story often changes while I make it in the game because there are many things I'd like to happen in the story that can't be done in-game. You have to be flexible of where the story goes with the game's limits (sometimes it can be good, but many of my stories have suffered because of this haha)
So When doing fight scenes in game, how would you have your actors (Those that are in your movie) perform it to make it look like fighting since there are no Reactions that do perform "fighting"
any of the new dance reactions from HHP, flourish, viva, yoga, workout, and/or feelin' it work well if you spam the A button after assigning the reaction at Harv's Island

I mostly write outlines, I've only written a handful of scripts for my videos but I find the story often changes with what can be done in-game. So I think a general outline is more useful to me for acnh videos!
Would you consider putting the different parts of your short films into one as a full mini-movie? Like Animal Crossing Movie has six (6) parts and I'd love to see it all in one go! You could make Frog Crossing Tornado Warning of 4 Rope Tornadoes and one gets on to the fire and when they are over you can make an wedge ef5 Tornadoes
I know you mentioned it a little but with the SD card only being able to record 30 seconds each, How do you time the scene-making perfectly (if u can’t control when the video starts)? And also do you have to heavily edit the videos/cuts from the switch? If so what program do u use to do so? Tbh I think ur movies are really cool and I can’t wait to see what you’ll make next! :D

Ah I'm so glad to hear that! I do the zooming in/out in editing by changing the scale of the video with keyframes. Depending on what you're using to edit, there's a lot of helpful tutorials - just search "pan and zoom effect".
