Correct oil and water do not mix they separate. So putting a cream on top of your herbal hair teas then applying the oil or butter will lock in the moisture in your natural hair.💫 Excellent advice Dinma
I am following your instructions and seeing marked improvement. I take some medication that makes it slower going but you really help me understand my hair more. Thank you and much love!❤
Thank you so much for sharing these nuggets. I am definitely going yo try it out with my daughter's hair. I discovered your channel yesterday and habe been binge watching all your videos. Can't wait to have a hair testimony because i was already thinking of just cutting it off because it doesn't grow and the quality is so bad.
Hi Dinma. I'm so glad you touched on protein sensitivity. I have low porosity hair that is protein-sensitive. I love coconut oil....but guess what? If I use too much EVCO on my hair, it will become hard and break. However, my scalp loves it. Ain't that crazy? LOL! So what I do is use most of the EVCO on my scalp, but use very little EVCO (no more than 1/4 tsp) on my hair, with a blend of other moisturizing oils (EVOO, avocado, aloe vera, and almond oils, etc.). I will also apply carrot pomade after oil application.
@@ebonywatson9939 Sometimes our scalp and hair can react differently to what we do to and place on them. Once we learn what they like coupled with consistency, hair growth is on and poppin'! That gives us an excellent starting point that will cause our scalp and hair to flourish!
@@ebonywatson9939 Excellent idea, Sis! The aloe vera and glycerin are excellent natural humectants to soften your hair after the tea application. Honey and rosewater are also great choices. Rosewater smells heavenly! Want to soften your hair even more? Try this: After you apply the aloe vera and glycerin to your hair, take a damp tee-shirt or microfiber towel, and place it in a microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Let it cool enough to wrap around your head. Put a plastic cap or bag on top of the tee-shirt or microfiber towel. Keep it on your head for about 15-20 minutes. Back in the day, this was known as the GHE (Greenhouse Effect). Your hair will become even softer, because the heat will open your hair cuticles and allow the moisture from the aloe vera and glycerin to seep into your hair strands. Then seal the moisture into your hair with a moisturizing oil and/or pomade (grease), if desired. Because my hair is low-porosity, I use a heavy oil such as castor oil or EVOO. Afterwards, I preen (rub intensely but gently) a thick carrot pomade into my hair strands. Then I put my hair in a protective hairstyle. I can do the GHE method throughout the week with my hair in a protective hair style (updos, high/medium/low buns, twists/plaits that are placed in a ponytail then bunned). I retain a lot of moisture in my hair by incorporating the GHE and LOP methods into my hair regimen. L = Liquid (Aloe Vera Juice/Gel + Honey + Rosewater + Veggie Glycerin - Blended together) O = Oil (Castor Oil, EVOO, Avocado and Aloe Vera Oils - Blended together) P = Pomade (my favorites are carrot and fresh rose pomade; but I prep and use moringa, rosemary + sage, and other herbal pomades). These pomades are also gentle enough to use on my scalp! I don't use creams because they cause excessive product buildup on my very low-porosity hair, which will lead to a lot of SSKs (single strand knots) and hair breakage.
Thank you ma, I put my hair in mini braids for 3 months and redo them after every 3 months with my own hair. I do my own hair and I use grease as my sealant. God bless you. Am low porosity too
Powerful combination henna, cloves and hibiscus. Can’t wait to try this my hair is Lowe porosity but I’m trying to get it to thicken up more. Thanks again.
Hello-This is super helpful since I use the teas weekly and occasionally experienced some dryness but I will reduce the usage and incorporate the leave in and cream to help offset the protein addition.
Because I will be making it for someone else and shipping it to them. It’s for my sister and sister-in-law. They have very thin and hair and I’m trying to help them out because it has really worked for my hair so if you can, could you tell me what type of preservatives will be good to use?
Hi Dinma - you are so beautiful and so is your hair and your giving spirit. Thank you! I’m confused: sometimes you use Neem Powder Sometimes Amla powder Sometimes Green Tea Sometimes Moringa. Can I use all of the above together and then follow the rest of your recipe - hibiscus, cloves, leave in conditioner, rosemary, essential oils like the rosemary oil, peppermint ect.

I use the herbal tea on my scalp. It’s funny what you say about coconut oil. My scalp lives wash day but my hair does not
I fill my herbal tea to about a quarter full then the rest with aloe Vera and glycerin

Thanks for sharing!! Yes, a lot of persons complain of EVCO , so EVOO should be your best choice. I love that you are intentional about the products
