Cool ! Any differences between the Arcade and PS1 versions ( besides the CGI videos for PS1 ). Always loved the PS1 version but I saw a Jamma pcb board for cheap : if its actually better than the PS1 version I might pick it up . Thanks !
And the graphics are STILL amazing , they're perfect. It's aged so well 5th gen arcades and consoles were the shit. I wish games still looked like this.

Now that I think about it, it was both nice and strange of Namco to make a detailed wrestling simulator have characters that practice different martial arts included in the game. (It's a joke people, I'm saying King's wrestling animations are very detailed, varied and numerous)
I can perform the chain throws only in PS1 version because its easier if you have the correct button configuration. But man, i swear you are really awesome performing these chain throws with only 4 arcade buttons...

King sure was overpowered back then, I missed out when I played it, I never knew Kings' grapples.
I figured it out tekken 3 cause I had tekken 6 at the time so I basically memorized the moves from 6 and used them on 3 which was an instant win.
I remember playing this game around age 8, and all I could do with King was spam his leg kick move.

The throw chains are so hard to do. I can do one of Nina's and one of Anna's by heart. But my god those button commands hurt my hands after awhile 😂
