  • @martinhenderson8636
    @martinhenderson8636 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    Well now. This is EXACTLY why Bo Pelini was fired from Nebraska with a 9-win/season average. He was so bad this way, his firing was DESPITE his 9-win seasons.
    Of course, didn't help that his teams would get EPIC BLOWN OUT at least once every year. Wisky one time had 600 yards rushing against a Pelini team. That's a team who's players quit on the a-hole coach.
    Tell ya what. I'm a Husker fan to the death. But if I had a boy, junior in HS being recruited by Pelini, I would "strongly advise" him to take his official visits to other places.
    I like what I'm seeing so far in Matt Rhule and his staff.

      @Patrick I listened to all of it. That kind of massive swearing and literally abuse is not Nebraska. The outcome of 1 player justifies nothing.
      I repeat, as a die hard husker, I would not have sent my son there while Pelini was coaching.
      I would send my son there under Matt Rhule.

      The record against ranked teams at NU, the record at YSU, and the 2nd stint at LSU tells the world what it needs to know about how good a coach he was. If he wasn't screaming and spitting he didn't know what to do. Urban and Bielema made him look like a middle school coach.

      @@connarhackbart4069 I mean, he wasn’t Osborne, but 66/28 in 7 years is far better than 43/63 in 10 years. He won at least 9 games every season. Winning at least 9 games now is a miracle. If fact it’s only happened once since Pelini was fired.

      @Stumme-40203 well obviously you can tell that. But if we kept with Bo we'd be right we're Iowa is. Mediocre...the hiring of Mike Riley was a terrible since he was just hired because he was the opposite of Bo. But at least that shows we have high expectations for this program then to just settle like Iowa is. Again let's not act like Bo was gonna take us to the national championship game he proved he couldn't make adjustments and when he would get called out for it he would throw a fit like a toddler
