That is super slick!!! I need to get in contact with you soon. I think its time to get some numbers together so I can go to the bank to get funds to purchase one of these setups.
Miss your videos sir, I know how life can steer us off course some times... but hopefully you can put up a video soon. Heck, just get in the shop and make something simple, and show it to us, doesnt need all the cool editing, etc
Dang! Is it possible to do a continuous top surface chamfer, say like on the perimeter of the 'wrenches' in the video? Just too awesome you can do this with a 3-axis machine.
Funny you ask that. I just quoted a 30,000 Watt machine to an energy company in NM. Rated to pierce/cut 3" carbon steel - $726,000 but for all us regular folks. 3KW will Pierce / Cut 3/4" and 6KW will pierce/cut 1"
hello friend, I need to drill a countersunk hole in a 3mm thick 304 stainless steel sheet. What are the parameters to do this? Could you help me, please?
dude i still sell prima, not sure what the worry is, go direct if you want to save some $$$ but if yoru worried about support, you better buy from a US importer. Checkout Laguna, Bescutter, Stealth.
Well I've now had youtube serve me up no less than 5 videos showing this exact process, all released within the last two weeks. I guess the word got out. Looks like the Trumpf was the first, at least to post on youtube. Sorry just found that interesting...
these imported machines dont exactly follow the same sizes we do here. 3x5, 5x10, 6x12, and 8x20 are the common sizes, with 5x10 being the most popular and best overall value
@@charlesfeng3823 How much pressure of nitrogen will u need (bc stainless steel requires highend consumption and pressure of gas it all about $) for this countersink while the head cutting from 40-60mm from material. So i cant see it real on SS. IMHO
Boa tarde amigo, gostaria de saber se você pode me ajudar a realizar este tipo de furos. Sou venezuelano mas moro no Brasil. Trabalho com máquina de laser de fibra ótica há um ano. Sou seguidor de vocês.
What about a software upgrade to my "other guy " machine so I can do this? Maybe you can sell my old one and swap out with the new and improved machine? Anyone thinking about buying a machine form Ramsey Customs don't hesitate, he knows his machines and will take care of any problems .
Your videos are killing me! If I keep watching them one of your machines is going to end up in my garage!
lol, we can make that happen!
That is pretty slick! Cool how the laser swivels independent of the axes.
it doesnt
Next level stuff there Gary!
There's really nothing cooler in this world than a laser cutter.
yes they are game changers!
I would love to see the cutting condition used to do this.
thats a better counter sink than i seen on some 5 axis machines.
lol, well i am not sure about that. its ok, but more of a gimmicky thing and certainly not a substituned for a machine countersink
Very good fiber laser machine👍👍
Hola podria agarra los parametros
Como leasemos gracias quedo perfecto😮

You got it sir, on standby waiting on ya! :)
I think Trumpf is thinking the same to check if there is a patent violation :-)
Can that fiber laser cut acrylic panels???
Precision at its finest! 🔥👊

Wonder how this works with the rotary tube cutter? Put a chamfer on pipe for welding.
Never knew a laser could do that. I suppose you could chamfer parts with it too.
yes
That is DAM COOL Gary

yes i think so with some slight experimentation, shouldnt be a problem, so you could do weld prep bevel, etc
@@turbocobra I was wondering the same thing. very useful feature.
What material thickness steel can they pierce now?

hello friend,

What are the parameters to do this?

I would love to see the parameters and maybe a sample g code program. Please help, I'd really appreciate it!
Does this use Cypcut software?
Master Gary!!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
That's an awesome machine
yea its a very nice machine
Как такие врезки аккуратные делаешь?
What is difference between peak power and duty cycle
Is the result good when cutting 0.5mm thick plate
I’m worried about support help. Just a minute ago you were selling Prima? Should I just go direct?

yes! same with me
What laser do you use? Would this work on trumpf or bystronic?
What does that exact machine cost as it sits?
$98K for 3000 watt, $76K for 1500 watt
Hey Man, no longer working with prima?
Yes I still do work with them, have 2 containers on order with them right now
hello ramsey . that technique is awsome . whats your laser model ?
I want one 5x10. How do I get one going ?
email me. gary@ramseycustoms.com

Awesome feature, me with my plasma table 😞
That's amazing!!
pretty cool !
Wonder what the smallest table is, a 4ft x 4ft would be good for me.

Damn, that's crazy! What would be optical focus for this countersink cutting setup im just curious? :)
positive focus around 9mm
@@turbocobra wow, impressive!!!
Oxy pressure also plays a role, right?
And have you tried stainless steel?

Ada ditributornya di indonesia?
How in the heck is that even possible without the laser tilting at an angle (5 axis)?
Just burning/melting the material from top and blowing it off.

I thought this was another prank...but.....wait....how it this possible? *want*
its some cool stuff for sure!
@@turbocobra I assume it can also do an edge bevel on plate?
That’s sweet!
