    Im glad it did't work from the bottom tube because the same exact thing happened with my 2008 Lincoln MKX and it worked just the same. Thank you so much.

    Man my wife's car has been struggling with this for days now and a mechanic wanted to charge us $200 to fix this. You are the real MVP

    Nice Job!! I got a 2009 MKX and was looking all around the hood and passenger side for the drain tube. Thank you, I found it on the driver side just like the 2008 you have. I did have to replace the blower motor, but that was just 3 screws- pretty easy, bought on Amazon for $40. Now I will have to follow your disinfectant job. Thanks again, Great tip!!

    Thank you , as soon as you said a swishing noise when you make a left turn I knew you was on point . I do as much as I can to my cars and just to have honest people showing others what to look for is greatly appreciated. 💯

    Wow, this was really helpful. I worked on a similar model year MKX and ended up following the EXACT same steps as you and the water came gushing down from the top line, just like yours. Thanks. Saved me $ and hours of waiting around at a service department.

    Had the same problem, blew out the bottom drain and nothing. A couple of little shots back up the hose and two+ quarts drained out. Thanks for a very helpful video.

    Good tip. I may have to try my Ford 500. I don't see any drainage under my car when the ac is on. My floor board carpet is not wet though. Thanks, John

    Did you ever have any other leaks on the passenger side of your Lincoln? I checked the ac tube it was not clogged and I also checked the cowl to make sure the drain wasn’t plugged. My 2008 mkx doesn’t have a sunroof but I read that rain water can get in the seal area on the windshield, passenger side up top and flow down the a pillar on the inside of the vehicle to the passenger floor. Just wondering if you or anyone experienced this. Thank you for making the video :)

      Thanks for your question? No I'm not having any leaks on windshield or anywhere else...but you are correct those seals can leak...my rear small passenger window rubber weather stripping is worn out bad that it kinda melted a little bit it's not leaking but in summertime does get sticky and can smear against window after a carwash or cleaning windows...but then again I live in the Desert..thing that sucks is way Lincoln made it for MKX to replace would have to replace whole window they don't sell the window stripping alone.. Thanks Lincoln lol...if not subscribed consider subscribing to my channel for future videos and updates..

    Would this affect ac performance at all?

    • @chrismiliotodiymore6407
      @chrismiliotodiymore6407  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can if not draining properly, it's more annoying and could make you and your passengers sick if you get mildew buildup coming through the vents

    • @AlexanderXtcSlayin
      @AlexanderXtcSlayin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chrismiliotodiymore6407 I don’t get any of that, but I sometimes get a bit of warm air mixed in with the cold. I was wondering if this could be the culprit.

    Dude, when your cup filled up you should have just connected the hose back to the drain port

    Does this work for the 2009 mkz

    • @chrismiliotodiymore6407
      @chrismiliotodiymore6407  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes should work for any vehicle, just have to locate where the drain plug is on that model.

    • @chrismiliotodiymore6407
      @chrismiliotodiymore6407  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's possible may be in same location since it's a Lincoln
