Love that breakdown and the back bend by Hyunjin, Lee Know and Felix and the way they just get back up is "chef's kiss". Love this song.

Yep! I agree with the timelapse. (as well as being robbed of lee know's screentime 😭)
1. when you reach out (like chan during the first verse) and they somehow drag you forward
2. when each step forward has a setback (the one after "tattoo" coz u move forward but end up also reminiscing about your past
3. when you decide to let go (hyunjin moving to the right and three members falling one by one)
and the whole dance in itself as a story, coz it runs down a person's fall and rise. Chan started alone but you see that moment when they all had their backs on us and he was at the center with ALL of them. coz tbh, we fight our own battles, but we win the war when we have other people fighting alongside us.

I definitely requested this on twitter and I'm so happy you were finally able to react to it :D Stray Kids Japanese songs and choreo are always so great. I really like your interpretation of the choreo too and how it's like a time lapse. It makes a lot of sense with the lyrics and the message of the song. If you have the time you should check out their The First Take session of Scars here on youtube. Their makeup there has their scars blossoming into flowers. It's really beautiful and you get to see their amazing vocals.

The choreo for their japanese releases always hit different from their korean releases. The choreo, I feel, did well to convey the emotions of the song. The song itself is also really good, they did really well with the “scars” concept and the fact that it was about their struggles as trainees and when they debuted makes it so much more meaningful for fans that have followed them from those times. It really is such a pretty song and the styling was really on point. Thanks for reacting to SKZ!!
