So when you sing a song you haven't composed, then you can't properly express those sentiments fully -- so for that reason, Jay sings it with more emotion. @lowal8 i'm guessing that you've never heard of Jacky Cheung before. he doesn't write his own songs but sings with SO much emotion. but then again, if you can't even hear the emotion in Joey's singing (she's known for being able to put a lot of emotion into her singing btw).... =/ i dunno, maybe try her songs/performances. u might be little biased since your idol composed this song.

Her Chinese is not that bad. Some of the Karaoke lyrics are wrong. E.g. should be 你我都走散 instead of 你我都早散; and 你書裡的劇情 instead of 你疏離的劇情.
先入為主. 原唱歌手一般說來較有利. 除社會大形勢剛好與歌曲情緒合拍合調外, 後唱者要超越一定要比原唱好一大截, 才能令聽眾追隨而捨棄原唱.
