As a kid I actually had the first build your own lightsaber kit (before the ultimate one). It also had crystals and they changed the sound, but to change the blade color you had to put a light filter between the emitter and the blade.
Great video, its still a shame they are extremely limited on lightsaber customization, with the same colors they have had for years, I hope maybe when Batu opens that they will at least make more colors.

I hope your reading this Dan-o, another way which I found out with curiosity yesterday to find Kylo Ren’s sound-font without the emitter is getting small rubber bands stretching them out and putting around the little sticking out button on the screw on area of the emitter and tighten it around there till it makes the sound-font ( took me like 12 rubber bands ) and put paper on the two areas where the cross guards shine for it doesn’t shine through the plastic
I actually just got back from Disneyland Paris like two weeks ago, and yes they do have some of the yoga parts. Not many though. It was mainly the emitter
I always love watching you build lightsabers and I wish my family can go to the Disney parks cause we would make lots of those lightsabers oh and how excited are you about star wars land
My issue with the build your own series, is that the sabers aren't exact. I guess that is why i enjoy blade builders. However, I do think it is super cool that they made this a thing.
Yeah you definitely sacrifice some detail with being able to slide the pieces on, so it makes the lightsabers look chunky. But it's a real fun concept.
