That was a great update and well worth the wait. I would say anyone thinking a rusty Ghia has no hope might change their mind after seeing what's possible.
Option, take 1/2 inch round bar and make a form of the nostril. Shape the curved edge of the nostril over the form and then make the back part out of flat sheet and connect the two together. Has to be better and less time consuming than the stuff you had to work with. Good job making the best of what you had.
after seeing how those grill inserts fit I dont think I would buy them myself. I would just make the patch. OMG they were so far off. And those suckers are not cheap Would be a tough patch but probably easier than making those fit.
Wonderful work! I have not seen the rear tire compartment panel with the shift shaft hole available. Would it be possible to tip me off to where you are getting your sheet metal parts? M&T has helped me with many but mainly are generic later model parts to modify. I noticed in part 5 that your lower fender panel was the correct wider low light part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@@kimfrick3583 the front rear tire well was from M&T . Part # 1 Part #: 404-05-U-KG . The lower front quarters were from someone overseas but I can’t seem to find them at the moment. It’s the same place I was able to get the headlight sections from as well. I’ll keep looking and when I find it I’ll let you know. Gab fab makes them as well as far as the lower fenders .
Great work.
