Its even much more than that, both discovering music styles for the first time together, sharing priceless moments as father and son. This is powerful.
Judas Priest is being inducted into the hall of Fame this year. They have been rocking for over 50 years and still counting. I'm going to see them in November.
If grandma hasnt been feeling well *dont* play her Painkiller... As much as I'd love to see the reaction of a grandmother listening to Priest, I do not want her to die.
Great reaction! 😄You are both adorable and your complicity is superb to watch. I wish I had the chance to experience the same thing with my dad. Unfortunately he chose cigarettes over my mom and I and cancer took him when I was 10. 😔🥺 Cherish all the moments you have together friends. They are so precious and so fleeting. By the time you realize it they are already behind you and you can just look back and remember. Greetings from France ! 🤗
Great Reaction! Painkiller is the definition of heavy metal, Rob Halford- the metal god. This album is a metal masterpiece. This was an awesome tour! Try Freewheel Burning, All Guns Blazing or Touch of Evil.
Best guitar solos ever recorded. #FightMe And it's gotten more than just praise, it's widely considered the most pure metal song ever created. It's the blueprint for metal.
Imagine that these guys are around since the end of the 60s. Dropped their first album in 1974. This was 1990. And in 2018 they dropped an album that many regard as one of the best albums if not the best metal album of the year. They're going strong for 50 years. 50! They were one of the inventors of metal. And end of the 80s, when everybody though Priest were at the end of the line the dropped this and absolutely killed it, droppin THE metal anthem. With blazing fast guitars, played by guys that learned how to play in the 1960s. And they're probably one of the most versatile bands there is, and ever was. Like, after this, go back and listen to Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver. Completely different. And then go to the middle of the road to this and try something off Screaming for Vengeance - like the title track, or Hellion/Electric Eye, or try Dissident Aggressor - or if you want to hear them cover Joan Baez(!) Diamonds and Rust. They have so many sides, it's fantastic.
OK, well first of all, please understand that the album Painkiller (to a lot of us) represents the absolute pinnacle of heavy metal. There are several other HIGHLY NOTABLE tracks on this album that you would thoroughly enjoy: All Guns Blazing Touch of Evil Between the Hammer & the Anvil *Possibly the best lead breaks/dueling guitars on the album Metal Meltdown Night Crawler One Shot at Glory
Love this one, a true definition of metal, a side note, they are the band that started the leather movement, great job as always guys. Love and respect always-!- Lol, haters are everywhere, do your thing guys. Better off being yourselves anyway. Make them even madder by continuing what y'all are doing!!
It was mostly Rob. Mostly to cover up his homosexuality. He said in an interview that he started wearing that stuff so that when people would see him in THAT section in a sex shop he'd go "Oh, always shopping for stage outfits, you know?!". It was a different world back then
Fantastic reaction guys, loved this. I too got into Priest only recently, can't believe it took me so long to listen to them. I have a suggestion for something a little different next, try Welcome To The Black Parade or Mama from My Chemical Romance. Keep rocking!
Judas Priest again proving how talented and versatile they are. From progessive rock to futuristic metal. I saw them live a few years ago and they were amazing! Thanks for the reaction guys.
I love you guys, seeing yr "bonding time" is wonderful. You've just had the Painkiller experience! Brilliant, brilliant reaction! Such passion for music! As I've said elsewhere to you, Judas Priest 'Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver', get to know early Priest, hear how they were laying the foundations for what you heard today back in '76. I look forward to your next reactions, irrespective of for who they are, so please, keep 'em coming! I send UK friendship & appreciation.
OH YEAH!!!! You have just basically scratched the surface of the Legendary Metal Gods. ...Judas Priest! New subscriber here, and I'm glad you guys are enjoying your journey into the world of Heavy Metal! Another must hear from Judas Priest is... "The Sentinel" . You won't be disappointed! As always, Peace and love from Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A!
3 steps to listen to painkiller 1. Bang your head as hard as you can 2. Don’t stop till the song end 3. Repeat the steps whenever you listen To it again
horns up, I cranked this whole album on my walkman during high school freshman year 1990. you guys might like halford's band after priest. fight- war of words, another favorite that I cranked in high school. 😎
You 2 remind me my son and my daughter when we used to listen many nights a lot of music.I believe that listening music you became a better person and the talks with your family came more easy, the thoughts and honesty.Keep rockin. With Judas Priest you can't go wrong.I reccoment you Paradise/The Spell from Uriah Heep.A1972 song with great lyrics and epic music..greetings from Greece.
There's an official video for this song too (th-cam.com/video/nM__lPTWThU/w-d-xo.html) ...same audio but you get to look at more than just an album cover lol! All Guns Blazing (th-cam.com/video/50jOfeVM6Hk/w-d-xo.html) and Metal Meltdown (th-cam.com/video/L0F_tln5UF0/w-d-xo.html) are another couple of ripper songs from the Painkiller album. That W.A.S.P. album you mentioned was pretty damn good. The song Wild Child from The Last Command album is really good too (th-cam.com/video/TsoLb-E7oy8/w-d-xo.html). PS...I'm an old metalhead (53 y.o.) who has been listening to classic rock and metal since the late 70's. I could provide a whole boatload (keeping it family friendly) of suggestions, if you want them. Cheers!
It is amazing that this song is in fact 30 years old, but is still setting standards. However, there are still many other similar great songs from Judas Priest. I would suggest following further songs/bands: - "screaming in the dark" from Halford (who ist of course the singer of Judas Priest) - "in the name of tragedy" from Motörhead - "Billion dollar babies" or "School´s out" from Alice Cooper - "Paranoid" from Black Sabbath - "Dying is easy (Rock´N Roll is hard)" from Jesper Binzer (rather unknown, but a great song)
Whats insane is my top 2 metal albums ever, this one and Rust in Peace, were released like 3 weeks apart in 1990. I really, really like the 2nd half of the Painkiller album.
All time metal classic.great reaction guys.i love seeing people enjoy metal songs for the first time.maybe its time to check out a new song from a band called killswitch engage.they started in the early 2000s and is one of my personal favorites.try "signal fire" out.you will enjoy them
First time I've checked back in with you two in a while. Glad to hear you seem to have straightened out the sound balance in the vids. Guess it's time for a subscribe. Keep it rockin'!
I just wanna throw in Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills, and Anthrax - Indians here. Not even sure why these two songs come to mind, but I think you'll like them.
Great reaction guys! Enjoy your voyage through Judas Priest, it's a nice one. I will just suggest one song, even there are tons you would enjoy: Dissident aggressor. No need to react, just listen to it ;) Peace!
I like to recommend Metal Meltdown (same brutal color like Painkiller)on the same album or Victim of Changes (kind of progressive color) or Blood Red Skies (if u like epic stuff, this is a must-hear one)
Blood Red Skies is an incredibly underrated and under-played song. It's kind of a hidden gem. It has that epic Terminator vibe with its use of synths and drum machines. And it's an epic vocal performance by Rob Halford. It's crazy that it gets completely overshadowed.
Heavy Metal definition = Painkiller album 🤘 you should react every song from the album. A Masterpiece!! Hell Patrol, One Shot at Glory, etc Another song, from another album: Blood Red Skies
You should react to deaths cover of painkiller.BTW Death is name of the band and they are the godfathers of Death metal. They have there own awsome songs too. :)
It's been awhile since I watched a reaction to this song, got tired of it after seeing it on every metal reaction on YT. I tend to request songs that are off the grid for most reactors, so here's a couple from a few bands with female vocalists. In This Moment - Call Me (Blondie cover) or Big Bad Wolf -- Alt-Metal with Maria Brink on vocals. SynlakrosS - Wish I Had An Angel (Nightwish cover) or Dark Seed -- Melodeath with Patricia Pons on vocals. Butcher Babies - They're Coming To Take Me Away Ha-Haa! (Napoleon XI cover) or Mr. Slowdeath -- Alt-Metal with Carla Harvey & Heidi Shepard on vocals. Burning Witches - Jawbreaker (Judas Priest cover) or Black Widow -- Power Metal with Seraina Telli on vocals. She's since been replaced by Laura Guldemond. Spoil Engine - Disconnect or R!ot. Although I LOVE this entire album, I would not have picked the title track as your first exposure to this album. But as others have said, this guitar work is indicative of the entire album. For your next Judas Priest reaction vid, I feel VERY STRONGLY that you should do the live version of The Sentinel off the 1987 album "Priest...Live!" The song truly epitomizes Judas Priest in the 1980's. But YOU HAVE TO DO THE LIVE version because the lead breaks are not as strong in the studio version.

How about some more EPIC TOOL. Jambi, Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned, Parabol/Parabola, Aenima, Third Eye, 7empest, Culling Voices, Swamp Song, The Pot, to name a few. ✌

Top disrespected artist not in the Hall of Fame. Ronnie James Dio. The Scorpions and Judas Priest. Hell both Ronnie James Dio and the Scorpions started making music in 1965. Hell the only reason the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame put KISS in. Is because the fans demanded it. The fact that they own the American record for Most gold albums. Should have been a good enough damn reason.
father and son listening to Priest....this is what raising a kid is all about, introducing them to metal..amazing channel you guys!
Its even much more than that, both discovering music styles for the first time together, sharing priceless moments as father and son. This is powerful.
Damn straight🤘🏽
Father and Son listening the Priest and enjoy it! Thanks God! The metal is saved!! 🤘🏻😈
Judas Priest is being inducted into the hall of Fame this year. They have been rocking for over 50 years and still counting. I'm going to see them in November.
When you search “heavy metal” in the dictionary, PAINKILLER plays from an unknown place.
Haha! I don’t doubt that! -S
Dude, I nominate you for father of the year
Immortal riffing, brutal solos, aggressive sound and Rob Halfords amazing screams - this song is a legendary Heavy Metal MASTERPIECE! \m/
If grandma hasnt been feeling well *dont* play her Painkiller...
As much as I'd love to see the reaction of a grandmother listening to Priest, I do not want her to die.
Painkiller = Heavy Metal. One of their best jams. Dual Lead Guitars at their finest!
The jaw dropping power of sweep picking in motion

I saw them on their Nostradamus tour in 2010. Hard to believe it's already been 10 years since that show!
"Awww, why did it had to end?!" :D
Judas Priest is my "trash metal" go-to band. Rob Halford's voice is epic. :)
any song from the album painkiller is a classic just like the title track...

Riot - Thundersteel.
It's on the same speed heavy metal genre of Painkiller.

Can't go wrong with these guys. Good choice/reaction! How about Alter Bridge and 'Blackbird?"
None extreme metal bands can fill destruction as Painkiller drums intro

Can't really go wrong with any Tool, if you ask me. Don't forget the earlier, heavier metal feel of the tracks from Opiate though.
@@eorliscious early TOOL rocks. I just picked those songs because of the intricate musicianship. His son has a great ear and I feel that he'd appreciate them. Also trying to keep it PG-13. Opiate is raw and full of passion and F-bombs. LOL✌

Speaking of WASP, you need to check out The Idol by them
I requested that song several months ago ! They would love the guitar/solo in that masterpiece !
Game of Drones Agreed!!!
Try Alice Cooper "Step On You"
Time to go back to The Who and I am requesting you react to The Real Me, a song from the rock opera Quadrophrenia and a real banger.
We love that song! We know and love all of Quadrophenia! To bad, it’s a great album. My dads favorite band is the who -S
Please react to Running wild - Blazon Stone
React to some Maiden like (Rime of the ancient mariner live Flight 666)
And there is more. 👍

Get this young man into some Tom Petty!

@@hopsmetalshow3413 Yeah!
*crawler not stalker lol
Way better than Megadeth.
WASP, really?
I'll take Weezer over Judas Priest noise any dsy.
