    On all of these " amazing things"- type videos, honestly O want to see the THING & it's usefulness before I watch endless processes. I did not watch to the end because I simply stop caring. Anyone else?

    Seeing a lot of negative comments but anyway you forgot to put the intake hole on the other side this would also be a great concept for an off grid forge blower good video

    Blew me away with this. Pretty cool. Great idea. The part that got me was your power source. Seems like you can use almost any rechargeable battery for that. It seems cheaper than the store bought ones that cost an arm and a leg. Nice work my friend.
    Cheers.

    I love you measured and made a line, then used a table. The fence kind of defeats the need for a line. Surprisingly you didn't use a hole saw after you used your compass to draw your circle.

    • @ronb6182
      @ronb6182 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah who keeps hole saws that large around the shop? Not many people unless you cut a lot of holes for a business. You use what you already have. If you don't have a table saw you can use a hand power saw. I seen people make table saws out of tables and a circular saw and use a level for a fence or even a straight 2 x 2 and use c clamps to fasten it to the table.

    Although I have a nice leaf blower/vacuum from Toro, this would be nice to have for my Wife who tends to leave my yard tools "where ever", when she finishes grooming the "South forty", and since she takes it upon herself to do it, I'd rather build her somthing from stuff I already have laying around - except for a $5.00 heater motor from the local wrecking yard.
    So thank you for a good way to keep my tools from premature aging.

  • @rupe53
    @rupe53 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Everyone seems to be shouting about a smaller pipe to make more blowing power but it would help to know how the air flows in the first place. The air intake should be on the open side of the blower wheel (not the bottom of the box) and the wheel should be as close as possible to that opening to prevent lost air. Secondly, air moves better when it doesn't get stuck in square corners so likely you could use some soft plastic parts stapled inside the box to round things out. These modifications alone would probably triple the blowing power.

    • @NutsandGuts
      @NutsandGuts 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah there is no air intake. It's frustrating to see this.

    why didnt you use a heat dissipating resistor to keep the button and wires from heating up . how many minutes does battery last ? not enough amps to last more than a few minutes, if it did it would melt the button or wires without the resistor.. put you a heat dissipating resistor in the air tube to keep it cool and use a 12v mower battery and it probably could run 30 minutes or more on a good 300 cca battery , most of the blower out of cars i ever seen were over 20 amps . no way that little battery can deliver that .. still a cool video
