We juz finished our Medical (physical, urinalysis, xray, hiv), even though we knew that we're not allowed to travel yet (subclass 300), should we still expect the visa to be approved within this year (at least juz let us know if we got the visa already even tho we cant leave yet)

It’s difficult to say because when the visa is granted it provides you with a nine-month visa. They may hold off granting until the restrictions are lifted otherwise your visa may expire prior to the borders re-opening.

My fiance just got his 300 Visa and I am so upset as I have applied for his travel exemption multiple times but it's getting rejected. What can we possibly do?

Thanks, Mom, for explaining, can we enter Australia at this moment with our prospective marriage visa?

Subclass 300 visa holders are not exempted from the travel restrictions.
Im afraid you are not able to travel to Australia on your s/c 300 visa.

Hi Julie. My Thai fiance and I have decided a visitor visa would be our first choice, then at a later date apply for the PMV. My question is: Does my partner need to do apply at the Thai embassy (she lives in Bangkok), and what kind of sponsorship do I need to provide?
If you've already done a video on this, could you point me to it?
    Thank you very much :)

Does applying and having a prospective marriage visa allow entrance into Australia with current Covid-19 border restrictions?

    • @trialanderror9772

No. My fiance got it, but can't enter. We are literally waiting for COVID to get over before his Visa expires

Hi Julie, thanks for your great content, may I ask whilst waiting for the subclass 300 approval, if my partner is to visit Australia on a tourist visa can apply for a bridging visa for her to remain in Australia until a decision is made on the subclass 300 application?

I met my friend a Australian Born citizen in 2019 end as she came to my country for few weeks, after that I was planning to visit her on visit visa but because of Corona all stopped. Now we decided to live together, when she was in my country whatever her bills I paid is in cash so no receipts in her name or her photos I took as she was with her other friends, none together but her friends can witness that we met. other than emails and WhatsApp chat/call we don't have any evidence CAN WE APPLY FOR PROSPECTIVE MARRIAGE VISA? OR its better wait till border opens and go on visit visa and apply for ONSHORE visa?

I lodged my visa 407 and it has been 8 months without any reply or requirements from the Department of Home Affairs, is there a way to send a complain so they will revise the papers as they are too late from the deadline they put

Hello what about the Australia visit visa from india

  • @ArcaneCyril
    @ArcaneCyril 4 ปีที่แล้ว

I have applied for this VISA in June 2019 from India. The time lines for this VISA kept on increasing ever since and the latest is showing to be 26-30 months. On the other hand, The partner VISA timelines are 18-26 months. While I understand that the pandemic has turned our lives upside down. If the timelines are going to be really implemented. The timeline discrimination between 309 and 300 is really unfair. The very reason we applied for 300 is to get married in Australia with our friends and families attending the event as a holiday. Please advise if we really need to be worried about the difference in timelines between 300 and 309. Thank you.

You do not want to pray to get your 300 Visa approved now. My fiance got his, now we are on this time bomb waiting for the border restrictions to get removed otherwise, there is no way he can come and his Visa 300 might get expired before then. it's better not to have the Visa now... Travel exemptions are continuously getting rejected. We r very heavy hearted right now

My prospective marriage visa got granted in March but my partner hasn’t had an opportunity to come to Australia since the grant date. We have tried to purchase plane tickets twice but they got cancelled. The entry date is about to end, do you have any information for this ? Thanks
