ok i have to say ive been following this anime since day one once it released and have read all of the mhanwa years back and damned if it hasnt been accurate to a t so far. Also Iron acting like that after he was lectured by jinwoo? yup that is actually how he was in the comic as well.
I didn't want to write anything under episode 1 so as not to accidentally spoil anything because I saw both of these episodes before the premiere in the cinema. But now that you've seen both of them I can write something. When after the first episode you were so delighted how epic it was, amazing etc. I was like OK, wait until you see the second one. Firstly, in my opinion both episodes were epic but today's is better because we have a few interesting things in it, e.g. this glitch when the elf commander wanted to say who he really is. Here I started to wonder if he was another player but the rules of the game prevent them from interacting other than fighting during the game and if so, does the game only take place in red gates and the bosses of these gates are other players? If so, it means that a player can be both a human and a representative of some other race, in this case an ice elf. Additionally, the elf commander tells Jinwoo that he is not a human, I wonder if this means that after entering the game, regardless of race, you become more of a monster in a sense and lose part of your humanity? I wonder how it will develop and what direction the plot will take.Yes, I know it's a long comment.
Only thing that can be said without spoilers is that all your questions will be answered later. Just light correction to what you said, when glitch happened, our MC wasn't asking who he was. "Who are you" was he asking who his people are and why they fight against humans. Also not to spoil too much, I wouldn't look too much of this "player" thing, whole "player stuff" is only from MC's point of view and might not be what is actually happening here.. All I say there is much more story that this being some kind of big rpg.
I saw so many people reacting to solo levelling and I binged watch season 1 and 2 episodes of season 2 in one night, and I slept at 6:00am :D The earlier fights were really good but they started the two episodes with 2 phenomenal fights honestly, that was incredible start. I wonder how strong Sung jinwoo really is, can he compete against those S rank fighters specially huang dong soo if he wanted to try and kill him, would he survive, if he did, I think he would extract his soul as well. Making him actually an S tier hunter if he were to defeat him.
To be fair, it was very short in the written material as well. They cut a good amount of dialogue, but kept all of the pertinent pieces. Also, as this is an anime, this leaves open the potential for a flashback for additional information, creating more tension that the manga or light novel weren't as easily capable of doing. They're taking advantage of the media they're using quite nicely
With the amount of content they will be covering for the entire season, the pacing will be fast. Afaik this season will cover red gate uptonjeju island(which was preluded in the previous season) In terms of manhwa about 60+chapters will be covered for the entire season. For light novel about 80chapters.
They are moving at a face pace for this season since they will be covering a good chunk of content, though i wish they didnt removed a line that i feel should have been included as it will show where SJW at the current pecking order in terms of strength compare to other S ranks. In this episode Baek when he was grabbing SJW's shoulder his eyes were different, kinda beast like. The said eyes gives him the ability to discern on how strong others are. The line he said after SJW left was something alongside like this: "i can beat him but i would lose an arm in doing so"
😅 the voice didnt tell the elves to kill JinWoo because on season 1 last episode the system said he is a Shadow Monarch now so technically for the elves it show he is a different being than human now

The tone when he talks to his sister differently than he does with people from the same "workplace", and I like that!
