please dont use 'paste' in your ~/.vimrc, it will stuff up expandtab so whilst ur files will look ok in vim, if you cat them out or try to kubectl create them, they'll have indentation issues the vimrc u want is set ts=2 sw=2 sts=2 expandtab set number set autoindent smartindent

This is very useful. Thanks. I have a question regarding the external monitor. Can it be used as my main monitor instead of for browsing through the documentation? The reason that I ask is my external monitor is much larger and this is where tmux becomes very useful since I can split the terminal into desired configuration. The main laptop screen being much smaller doesn't have the room to display the tmux split terminal screen. The camera is built into the laptop though so the proctor will get a side view of my face instead of camera facing view. Please advise.

yeah for pods I usually put the config into a file, make my changes, delete the pod, then recreate from file.
Use `kubectl replace -f /path/to/yaml --force`

You can only have one monitor , external is fine, but you need separate webcam
