I am from Brisbane in Australia, we dont have Cherry Blossoms but we do have Jacaranda Trees which have Bright Purple Flowers, kind of a Lavendar shade and they fill the city, they bloom around October November time, we also have streets lined with them and some Parks filled with them, although they arent native to Australia you would be confused because there are so many. I love Spring time when they bloom it is my favourite thing to see.
I'm from Portland, Oregon and we have probably thousands of sakura trees in the area. The famous ones you were talking about are on the waterfront of the Willamette river though in downtown Portland. I believe they were a gift like those in Washington DC.
Fellow Portlander here. I love the Sakura along the Willamette. Especially when it’s clear enough to see Mt Hood. The Japanese Garden also has gorgeous Sakura.
Here in the UK we use a lot of cherry blossom for gardens, parks and places like cathedrals or graveyards and stuff. We also have a native cherry blossom which is a large white blossomed tree! We have several cherry blossom seasons ranging from early spring, mid spring and late spring all with different blossom types. The last blossom type is called the "kanzan" which are incredibly pink and the blossoms are FULL of petals. They're absolutely beautiful. We use cherry blossoms a lot here where I live in the Highlands of Scotland
We have cherry blossoms here in Mississauga. In fact, they are located in Kariya Park and if that sounds familiar, that's because Mississauga and Kariya are sister cities, and there is a Mississauga Park over there in Japan with a replica of our city hall.
Hi from Toronto Ontario Canada. There's 20 places here that have cherry blossom trees. Some are in High Park equivalent to NYC's Central Park, Centre Island & a couple of University of Toronto Campuses to name a few. Thank you for sharing yr experience always a pleasure Sorry I saw this late
We have a yoshino variety in our backyard. And there are some throughout our neighborhood. And there is a Cannon plant in a neighboring city and they have many sakura on their property. Another J-vlogger found a similar place in Hiroshima with trees on either side of the river. Less crowded. I want to come in the fall to enjoy the colors then.
I loved watching this video , soooo funny { note to self = get drunk view sakura better !!!!!!!], but seriously what a fun and lovely episode keep up the good work guys your awesome xx !!!!!
Here on Hawaii island, we have the annual Waimea Cherry Blossom Festival. Due to Covid though it has been canceled last year and this year. Hopefully, next year!
Goodness gracious me that's a long time to get into Satbucks 5 hours . And eating along the river that's understandable ,but it was a request . And thanks for the correct pronunciation for Sakura , it is very important to the Japanese language. Over all this was a beautiful walk Shinichi so much to see , I enjoyed this experience just beautiful to see ❤️ .
Thanks for showing the lovely Sakuras! Stressful as it it with the crowds :) Seeing all that pinkness and interesting shops are a good distraction! I hope u do travel to see the other late blooming Sakuras too!
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has some cherry blossoms that I really enjoy visiting. They havent bloomed yet so your video just increased my excitement for when they do. Usually they have a Sakura Matsuri but sadly its been cancelled every year since 2020.
I enjoyed Sakura-viewing im Shinjuku Gyoen because aside from seeing many varieties, I was able to be beside them for photo-op and no policeman to tell us to move forward. The area is huge so no crowding. The day after my visit, next I went to Ueno. Most are tall trees so I had to crane my neck and use zoom to get close-up of the Sakura blooms. And more crowded, with many blue plastic spread on grounds where people sat. My brother & family live in Canada and they have Sakura blooms also in Toronto along places like: 1) High Park 2) Cedervale Park 3) Toronto's Center Island 4) Trimity Bellwoods 5) Woodbine Park, etc.
I so enjoyed this video and viewing such beautiful sakura! I like how everyone celebrates the season by viewing and also eating sakura inspired food. Celebrating the natural beauty is uplifting. Thanks for creating this video!
Hello Shinichi and Satoshi, It's that time for Sakura season. It is so beautiful. It is also nice to see japnese people getting back to enjoying their favorite celebrations after being qarantined from covid. Just seeing the crowd gives me hope that japan is getting back to their normal living and may open back to the tourist visiting again. I enjoyed watching your video. Thank you and have a beautiful day. (Someday I would love to be there with you.)
Nice video. Seems many people are back out and about. It reminds me of the pre covid times for hanami. Osaka had some Hanami parties. That many hours wait for a piece of bread no way!
We have a place called the Japan House so they celebrate all of the Japanese holidays and have festivals and hold tea ceremonies look up Japan House UIUC in Champaign Urbana it’s very pretty
Aloha Shinichi & Satoshi! We do have a Sakura tree in our yard. It has bloomed, very few flowers. Not cold enough. Love the river view! Arigato! Aloha!🌺
The cherry blossoms are so beautiful! I missed the premier, but I sent a link to all my friends 💚 it looks amazing and probably smells great too! Thanks Shinichi 😽💕
Very peaceful. I haven't been around crowds in a long while, so that part was a little anxious lol. But the very nice scenery was relaxing. Also, I love putting frozen fruit in my cocktails! I'm that person that needs every cocktail super chilled🤭. Frozen fruit helps without watering down the drink! Like tasty icecubes 😋.
Sakura is beautiful! Thank you for this video. Waimea on Hawaii Island holds an annual Cherry Blossom Festival in February. You can enjoy Sakura there also.
Nice video, wonderful colors of spring with Sakura. Experienced it both in Imperial Palace grounds and in Osaka Castle. One question though, does Sakura tree grows in subtropical Okinawa?
Michigan has cherry festivals in summertime to celebrate the actual cherries but not the flowers. Since we can get snow into May, the weather is too unpredictable for tree blossom festivals. That's why peach, apple and cherry festivals are in the summer and fall instead.
Aloha from Hawai'i 🤙🏽 Mahalo for sharing your Sakura adventure with us 😍 it's ALL so SUPER beautiful 😍 I did want to point out that, in Hawai'i, there ARE Sakura 💜 Not too sure if it's on each island but, here on the Big Island, there are some in several people's yards💜 I enjoy ALL of your content on your guys' channels 💯🤙🏽 I've started doing research planning for a 14 day itinerary sometime down the road with a couple of my bff's 🥳 STILL a work in progress...ANY pointers &/or advice 🤔 We're planning for mid April 💜 Mahalo in advance, Blessings & Aloha ALWAYS 💯💜🤙🏽
Ahhh I had no idea sakura is found in Hawaii! I guess advice would be to first choose what you’d like to do here and then decide on the city or cities you’d like to visit. One more advice is to not cram in too much in your itinerary. Part of the fun of Japan, especially Tokyo, is to take it slow. Would this be your first time to Japan?
Yes...my first time 🥳 So, I was thinking of doing the 3 major cities Kyoto, Osaka and ending in Tokyo 🤔 But, I'm not sure which I should do first... Kyoto or Osaka-advice, please 🙏🏽 I'm DEFINITELY wanting to come in the middle of April 🤔 Everytime I watch your videos especially of the different foods, I think to myself, "I want to go THERE & there etc..."😋 If I may ask...which inexpensive hotel do you guys recommend? Or, would it be cheaper especially in Tokyo maybe stay in a B&B or something like that 🤔 I really have no idea 🤷 Mahalo in advance 🤙🏾 Blessings & Aloha 🌺
Yup they got Sakura in Washington DC. I live like 30mins outside of Washington DC. I'm planning on going to see the Sakura festivals in Washington DC this weekend. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 BTW how old are those Sakura trees?
Here in Utah we have a variety of flowering trees including cherry, plum, pear, and apple in both people's yards, and in parks and other public spaces.
Germany has Sakura as well but usually not as much ... still one or two "famous" places that usually get overrun by tourists. Sadly Cherry Blossoming isn't celebrated here at all also Germany isn't prone to "experiments" so you hardly ever see any special kind of foods unlike in Japan where you try every possible taste and mix of tastes. Also nice to see this palce in good quality, drew was there only a few days ago but that livestream was really unsatisfying as the quality was so bad ;(
Yes we do have beautiful cherry blossoms here in Portland. They were gifted to us from your country in 1990.🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
I was there in Naka Meguro in 1996. No people!! Great memories!!
At my house I had big beautiful blossom and the bees love it, it's so relaxing watching the bees gathering the pollen from the flowers.
We have one Sakura tree up In koke’e state park. Only the hunters know it’s exact location. Mahalo from Kauai
I go there every weekend for my regular class. Always very quiet until this year’s Sakura season!
Lots of Sakura in Portland Oregon. Sadly I missed them this year. I love Sakura so much.
We have beautiful flowering Dogwood trees in my part of the US. The pink ones remind me of Sakura.
I'm from Portland, Oregon and we have probably thousands of sakura trees in the area. The famous ones you were talking about are on the waterfront of the Willamette river though in downtown Portland. I believe they were a gift like those in Washington DC.

Sooooo beautiful to see brother! Thank you for the tour! Oooh, those yellow flowers...I grow them in my yard....wild clover. 😊🍀🏵🍀🏵🍀🏵
the falling sakura petals are so pretty T-T

For me, every place is the right place for flower-viewing. Too bad it's only for a few days out of the year. I wish that it was year-round. *in awe*
We have cherry blossoms here in Mississauga. In fact, they are located in Kariya Park and if that sounds familiar, that's because Mississauga and Kariya are sister cities, and there is a Mississauga Park over there in Japan with a replica of our city hall.

Wowww, the sakura is so calming to watch.
Very pretty along the river. I might prefer the park just because there’s maybe more space to spread out away from other people.
Nakameguro river ... Miss you !!!
それはとても美しい🌸
It's so beautiful. Nature at its best
I appreciate the nice photography of the trees and the river, You captured some very pretty images.
Sakura is one of the most beautiful things on earth!💕🌸I wonder who has planted all the trees?
WoW 5hr wait….Sakura what a beautiful season! 🤙
Thanks for sharing this video with us it is beautiful ☺️❤️😘🤩🥰
Odaiba is a good place to see Sakura too. And there is a very good view by the sea. I recommend that.
Love Sakura. I love this time of year. I'm so glad that I am able to see sakura out my window. I have five tress on the side of my home. Nice video
We have beautiful cherry blossom trees all over Victoria, BC, Canada! They bloomed some time ago, very beautiful shades of pink
Such a great video! Thanks for sharing with us. 👍🏼😊

Naka meguro is a great spot shinichi!!!! 🌸👍🏻
We have sakura in Hawaii. We have a few trees at our house as well.
Drunk and grumpy Shinichi is a very funny fellow. LOL
Here on Hawaii island, we have the annual Waimea Cherry Blossom Festival. Due to Covid though it has been canceled last year and this year. Hopefully, next year!
We have sakura in wales. Wish it was appreciated more though.
In Helsinki, Finland, there are Cherry trees.
Thank you for taking us on your sakura viewing walk in Naka Meguro! It's so beautiful there. 🌸🌸🌸🙏🌸🌸🌸
Olympia Washington NorthWest USA has Japanese cherry trees
We have cherry blossom in Nepal white ones
What a lovely spot, I am surprised the petals aren't flying away more since it does seem quite windy.
There are sakura in Wahiawa, Hawaii and the Japanese government gifted 3 Sakura trees in Manoa park in Honolulu.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful view of the Cherry Blossoms.
NYC has a Cherry Blossom festival too.
Goodness gracious me that's a long time to get into Satbucks 5 hours . And eating along the river that's understandable ,but it was a request . Yes, seems very hectic but just, just, just so beautiful!!
Thanks for showing the lovely Sakuras! Stressful as it it with the crowds :) Seeing all that pinkness and interesting shops are a good distraction! I hope u do travel to see the other late blooming Sakuras too!
Vancouver, Canada has many beautiful cherry blossoms. We have sukura events too!
This is a wonderful video of blooming sakura. We do have some sakura in Australia. But they flower in September which our spring time.
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has some cherry blossoms that I really enjoy visiting. They havent bloomed yet so your video just increased my excitement for when they do. Usually they have a Sakura Matsuri but sadly its been cancelled every year since 2020.

Love the cherry blossoms, foods and Meguro.....don't like the crowds!!
I'm curious about the scent of sakura, do they smell so good? 😊
Imagine living near that area, happiness! 😍
Wow, these are best Sakura images I’ve seen this year…beautiful photography!

Sakura is beautiful! Thank you for this video. Waimea on Hawaii Island holds an annual Cherry Blossom Festival in February. You can enjoy Sakura there also.
Thanks for that info! Would love to see it one day
Also got Sakura in Wahiawa.
Everything is so beautiful and the mocktails look yummy!! Love 💕 ya! Tina
Soo beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing
Wow yes it is very very crowded l!
The crowds has improved a little bit, not as bad
Nice video, wonderful colors of spring with Sakura. Experienced it both in Imperial Palace grounds and in Osaka Castle. One question though, does Sakura tree grows in subtropical Okinawa?
A different type of sakura grows in Okinawa and pretty early too
the Sakura were blooming in Animal Crossing last week!
Beautiful beautiful 😍
No coffee is worth a 5 hour wait!

Awesome job bro
Yup they got Sakura in Washington DC. I live like 30mins outside of Washington DC. I'm planning on going to see the Sakura festivals in Washington DC this weekend. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 BTW how old are those Sakura trees?
I'm in Maryland. 1 hour from DC. I've not seen the DC Cherry Blossoms in years.
@@mlm21 yea I know same here. I always miss it. Hopefully i can meet it to this one this weekend or the next.
Here in Utah we have a variety of flowering trees including cherry, plum, pear, and apple in both people's yards, and in parks and other public spaces.
I've never been to Nakameguro, but if its always as crowded as that I don't think I want to.
It’s usually a pretty quiet area so please visit. It gets crowded only during the sakura season
It is beautiful, but I'd never visit Japan at this time of year. Way too crowded for me, and it'll be triple that when tourism there picks up again.
Do cherries come from cherry blossom trees?
No cherries are a different plant altogether. I asked the same question when I was a kid.
I guess the frozen strawberries can also act as ice cubes.
Do you have two youtube chanels? I am confused
Yes my partner and I run the Tabieats channel together while this is my own channel.
