I wonder what most Rum runners looked like both in civilian life and in the military back then too.
"pretty girls" "lovely women" I really hate when the narrator assumes the audience is male. That's the only thing that annoys me about the past - the way that the man is placed at the absolute centre of everything and women are dehumanised.
