My favorite car I've ever owned was a 5.0 1995 Bronco, bought it in '09 or '10, with 120k miles for $2500. I'm embarrassed what I sold it for, to help out a good friend that was in desperate need of a vehicle. Now I'm aspiring to own a 2 door, new bronco, since the old ones values have shot up so much that the new ones are probably more attainable
I'm sorry if anyone disagrees with me but I would take the '95 over the new one in a heartbeat. The styling is soooo much better and having a V8 puts it head and shoulders above the new one. I've seen the new ones on the road and they just don't do anything for me.
@@Victoria3232-j7o I feel your spelling and grammar are already there. In other news, there are already old broncos in the scrap yard. Not everything that is old was made better.
The simplicity of the 95 is what makes it so great. I also don't think the new one will look as good in 25 years. I like the new one but it's a tad busy looking overall and looks like it will need pampering. Sat in one ... it's nice but not sold on it.
This is easily my favorite Bronco video you’ve posted, and I’ve watched them ALL!! I just bought a ‘96 bronco XLT 5.8L V8 because my biggest regret in life is selling my ‘96 Bronco that I got as my very first car. I love your wheel and tire set up on your ‘95, along with the 2” lift. It’s got a great stance! I’m going to do exactly that to my “new” ‘96 bronco. Thanks for putting out great content!
96 XLT 5.8 Bronco I am fairly here to tell you that you along with 78-79 Ranger XLT Bronco you’ve got the best SUV in history, mate 96 XLT 5.8 Bronco is basically the best SUV there is right now in 2023 I would never swap it for an AMG G-Wagon , I wouldn’t sell it for a million dollars 💵 keep it and you’re smart to go and replace your loss and mistake from selling yours once , great great vehicle perfection on wheels still over two decades and nothing from Chevy , Jeep , GMC , Toyota , nissan and Mercedes being able to fill that void left after the Bronco retirement in 1996!
The ‘95 review brought back memories of my ‘86 5.0 white Bronco. Not a lot different than the ‘95. Mainly used as a family vehicle. I took the center console out which made it easy for a child walkthrough. Added an after market seat belt and buckled a baby carrier between the front seats. Great for road trips and towing a ski boat!
My step brother bought a Bronco new in 78. It has a 302 cid (5.0 liter), 4spd manual with a granny low. It is still his daily driver. About 10 years ago he had a frame off restoration on his 78. He only has about 70K miles since he had it done. It’s yellow and white with tan interior. It can take him Everywhere!
That 1995 Bronco is AWESOME and has SOUL! The new one... not so much. I can close my eyes and see OJ and AJ Cowlings cruising along the California Interstate at a slow speed with about 50 cops behind them - STILL!
I’d LOVE to own a 96 Bronco with either the 4.9 In-line 6cyl or the 5.0 (302cid) V8. I’d prefer the 4.9. I had a F150 with the 4.9 and it had a ton of low end torque. It took awhile to get up to speed, but after almost 300K miles, I was well pleased with that engine.
You don’t get any better than that 90’s style fords. Those square bodies are perfection and simple. Way nicer than the modern 2021 ones. The interior cab room and v8 option is nice, not all this turbo crap.
I remember watching the cops chasing that classic Bronco like your that was driven by AC down the freeway in California, most people were thinking " wow look at all the cops in the chase" I was sitting there thinking to myself " wow, those Broncos get fantastic gas mileage"
The tailgate window key is also for the glovebox and center console, if you got the optional locks. My '81 also had a lock on the hood latch so you couldn't pull the handle when it was locked. Pretty slick!
I had a 1992 Eddie Bauer with the 351 (which I would love in my new one). I still feel like the 1992 -1996 feels bigger inside then the new Bronco. This has not discouraged me from ordering my new one. I have waited for 25 years. lol Unfortunately I am not sure when I will get mine since I did order both roofs and am sticking to my order. I do love the content on your page and this video is awesome!! Just seeing the 1995 is great.
Very cool video, I always wanted to see the comparison of a 95 to the new ones height wise. I actually had a 96 bronco sport in all black with the 5.8 motor, wish I would have kept it now.
14 miles per,my 2002 explorer has gotten 21 mpg with her 4.6 . Both great rigs,my daughter loves the 1990's models, but still likes the 2021. Happy Tuesday, blessings,🇨🇦

Love the 95 bronco. My roommate in college had one that was abused as well. . I’m super excited about my 2021 4 Dr Badlands. It arrives next week from Maxlider.
I have a 1993 white Bronco just like yours that I also got when I was 15! And I still have it too! I'm sooo happy I never sold it. Love both of your rigs!
I bought new 1984 Bronco XLT 351w, 4 speed, that was black and gray with a bit of red tossed in. Other than the gray hood flaking after only a couple years it was a great truck. Wish I still had it.
That 95 is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It's begging for a set of clear corners lenses up front though. Especially on that white paint color, that would look SOOO clean to get that Amber lense out of there for a nice clear corner. (I don't mean an LED replacement... I'm just talking about a regular ol set of clear corners)
TY for the video...... I have been wavering whether to put some $$ into my '93 XL, or go into debt and buy a new Bronco.... I am going to keep my Bronco, it has served my family well for 20 years, taught two boys to drive (ahem), and carried us all over. Yeah she did get a few wrinkles over the years, but so have I.....
Great video, nice job! Loved the detail and especially sharing personal owner experiences. A lot of reviewers haven't lived with the good and bad of particular vehicles. Couple things: 1) You can actually haul 4x8 sheets of plywood in your old Bronco! Which could be of great value if a guy needed to haul occasional sheets to ...um, like a cabin. LOL. 2) The smaller engine on the new Bronco may not give a whole lot better fuel economy, but it is a lot lighter than a V8 which contributes to the new Bronco's lighter, more-responsive driving feel, which is nice. And less bouncing, easier to control off-road. 3) It's amazing your old Bronco's AC still works like you say. Note: Technically, and you probably know this, the vehicle's AC is *removing* the heat from the air flowing past the evaporator coil, and transferring the heat (via refrigerant) to the condenser. I only bring it up bc you mentioned blowing cold air several times. Not trying to nit-pick ...I get your point. Your old Bronco looks great. I had a couple myself back in the day. Like you say, you're blessed to still have it. Great job, thanks!!
Had an old 90s bronco and loved it...rust got the best of it...Drove a 2021 ford bronco 4 door diamond but interior feels subcompact/small...I miss the big interiors of the past...where your passengers are not in your face...So, I own 2018 f150...which I love...

The TTB full size Bronco is great to build . 4 wheel drive with 18 inches of wheel travel on goof positionsensatrive bi pass resivior shocks Independent suspention smooths out the bumps . Ifyou plate and gusset the beams and make stronger tadius arm to beam mounts they can be hardcore strong. Tall front shock tower as well Cut and turned lift gears ,lockers on 35" tires with a built engine and drivetrain and it will go most anywhere fast in control. I love it. A lot of work and some Mioney and time learning what and how but it can kind of blow minds of those that have not ridden in desert suspention vehicles. With 4x4 lockers and the rest built well YES.
New Bronco is nice for sure but my love is on the '95. The tailgate, fold down rear seat gives a lot of utility room and that's something lost on the new one. The classic styling and v8 power even though it is less powerful, just has the right sound. But if you are hauling young kids then you want some back doors. You are lucky you have both to enjoy!
Just a heads up on the center console in the 92-96. You can install (with just a lil bit of adjustment) the 2005 Expedition console. (i guess the 03-07, i just got my hand on a 05) It fits and works great in my '94 EB 5.8 Bronco.

How is the head room in the new Bronco? I had an older Bronco like yours and now drive an F-150. The head room is these is great. I like being able to see traffic lights without moving around in the cab. When I sit in a Jeep the metal bar above the wind shield gets in the way.
Love that 95 bronco but that dash you can get a molded cover and it's not that high and it lasts forever I had one put on my 1988 Thunderbird turbo coupe and it turned out great
I luv both broncos, they both look great! keep up the good work and videos, I really appreciate it. 🤙🏾 .but I prefer the 95.I had a 1980 with the 351 and a manual transmission and few extra goodies with a 9” lift and 39” tires.I loved it because of all the interior room that it had, and it’s amazing turning radius.that thing could go almost anywhere and turn on a dime! I sold it a few years ago and regretting it now! Luv your Broncos tho.. Mahalos for sharing 🤙🏾
I noticed no 4 wheel drive shifter on the floor. Was it electronic then? My 87 Bronco 351 4 barrel carb, 3.73 gears, was slow as well, but it got around off road ok.
Old bronco all day! I’m driving my old 1988 k5 blazer tbi 350 with 257,000 miles it’s 36 years old! I drive a semi truck and I got truck and trailer stuck at the truck yard! The yard dog didn’t have the keys in it so I hocked my old k5 to it put the semi in neutral and put that k5 in 4x4 and pulled against that 37,000 pound rig and it pulled it out! Dead weight! That old bronco could do it too! The new one I’m not sure I know it won’t 36 years from now because it won’t be running lol too much tec!
We literally have the exact same bronco, both white both brown interior same motor same tire setup same leveling kit just different front seats we both have a cracked dash in the same spot too
I really like the new Bronco. I ordered one, and I cannot *wait* until it gets here! But as much as I like it, I have my doubts about it still being here in 27 years. Too much complicated stuff to go wrong and too little support from manufacturers these days after a car hits 10 years old or so. The simplicity of the '95 is its saving grace -- plus it shares mechanical bits with literally *millions* of other vehicles from that era. The aftermarket supports pretty much anything you need for it. It's hard to get parts *now* for a '21 Bronco -- can you imagine how difficult it'll be in 27 years? Swapping in a crate 302 into a '95 Bronco is easy. I don't see that happening with the 2.3L or 2.7L engines.
Can you share the link to see what it looks like wrapped? I’m hoping a white on white Bronco comes out. I understand there are white hardtops on the heritage but want that on non heritage Bronco
Dang i stopped at the applebees across the freeway from this dealership during my roadtrip to Tennessee. Had i known that was your dealership i would have stopped on by. 😅
You never mentioned the removal rear seat in the 95. That option was 80-96 also I think the 78 and 79 had that option also. They are quick and easy to remove.
Love the 95, I have a 90 wouldn’t sell or trade for nothing. How did you get the wheels to look like that? I’ve been trying to get that old skool mag look on mine
My wife has a 16 Kona awd flex that she almost worships. I told her about the new bronco. She said hell no. Lol. Then I took her to the local dealership to look at one. Now she wants a 4 door badlands. Unfortunately, where I live the dealers r basically crooks. That goes for at least 4 dealers in my surrounding area. I told her when we r ready to buy we r traveling to u guys. We r in Kansas. So, hopefully we will see u soon.
Lol so glad I went and checked myself on something... Was going to call him out on there being a straight 6 in that generation of bronco when he said it was V8 only..... Which was true but it got discontinued in 1994 so he was right on the '95 you had the choice if 5.0 and 5.8 V8. Suprised that the horsepower is that low as the 302/5.0 V8 was at 225 in a 90s Mustang. I get different tuning and such but wow, 225 vs 150 is 33% more output on the mustang trim.
not going to lie: the 95 bronco is awesome. the whole video could be just the 95 bronco

Ok, is Mitchell trying to send us a code or something? He didn't say how tall he was in this video.
6'3"
Please do a vid on that tuffy trunk on the 21. Super interested in that. Want to see look with top down and love to see it with top off. Please please!!
Back when trucks we're trucks........
I miss those days, even though i didn't even exist
You didn't exist in 95? 😆
I agree I'd take a first gen Cummins over any truck from 2021
Does the tuffy rattle?
How is the head room in the new Bronco? I had an older Bronco like yours and now drive an F-150. The head room is these is great. I like being able to see traffic lights without moving around in the cab. When I sit in a Jeep the metal bar above the wind shield gets in the way.
Ford should have made the tailgate on the new Bronco open like the 95 , along with the power window.
The new Bronco is Based off the 1st gen 2nd-5th gens were short wheel base f series
Can’t wait to do our walk around with our new bronco and my old one👍👍👍
Technically speaking, the new Bronco is probably better BUT, the mid 90s Broncos have a special place in my heart.
The 1995 model has 4x4 buttons on the dash.
My 92 ranger had the same bend in the front bumper from helping push another vehicle that was broken down.
Love the 95
Can you share the link to see what it looks like wrapped? I’m hoping a white on white Bronco comes out. I understand there are white hardtops on the heritage but want that on non heritage Bronco
Dang i stopped at the applebees across the freeway from this dealership during my roadtrip to Tennessee. Had i known that was your dealership i would have stopped on by. 😅
You never mentioned the removal rear seat in the 95. That option was 80-96 also I think the 78 and 79 had that option also. They are quick and easy to remove.
My 88 with the 5.8 gets 8 mpg. Barely drive it anymore but never getting rid of it.
I agree that 2 door is a beauty!!
Love the 95, I have a 90 wouldn’t sell or trade for nothing.
How did you get the wheels to look like that? I’ve been trying to get that old skool mag look on mine
5:40 that start up made me feel all tingly
I like the 1995 Ford Bronco so much more....nothing beats a real v8 sound
Ordered a 1987 with all the options. 351 was carbureted that year. And no overdrive. But had so much boxy room.
Those Mickey Thompson wheels should be on every 80s and 90s F150 and Bronco.
I love how you noticed the Mickey Thompson’s!
90s broncos all day !
There is no competition there
Where did you get the steel cover for the back and can you show us how you installed it?
My wife has a 16 Kona awd flex that she almost worships. I told her about the new bronco. She said hell no. Lol. Then I took her to the local dealership to look at one. Now she wants a 4 door badlands. Unfortunately, where I live the dealers r basically crooks. That goes for at least 4 dealers in my surrounding area. I told her when we r ready to buy we r traveling to u guys. We r in Kansas. So, hopefully we will see u soon.
I have the exact same ‘95…colour and everything! 👍🏻😉
Old school all day!!!!
